this was fun and hilarious to watch yall guys do that. Of course silliness like this is a part of what it is all about, makin’ a livin’ doin’ what you love.
I always appreciate when you have a bait recap at the end of your videos. The adventure is amazing, but for us rookies, we want to know your bait usage as well. Thanks, mate!
I fish the beaches of Hobe Sound, Stuart upto Fort Pierce. The Florida current Eddie’s out North of Palm Beach and dips in very close to the beaches. When the wind is out of the East lots of bait get pushed up onto the beach and sometimes the pelagics follow. I have seen our caught sailfish and mahi from the beach on a few occasions. Sightings are quite common certain times a year. Cheers.
The first couple of years that pier was in we caught some amazing things. Now the bait fish really know the shelter is there and the big fish come in. I watched the old pier come down and started working on the pier when it opened again. Bonita, tuna, a marlin, crazy amount of sharks and dolphins, all kinds of rays and jellies. I miss it.
We have Dolphins here in the South Carolina Lowcountry that will work in a group and run fish up on a bank or beach and feed. It's called "strand feeding" and it's absolutely wild to watch. It is a learned behavior only done in a few parts of the world. Cool to see some inept humans trying it :).
ohhhhhhh yes! I saw and learned of that on a PBS nature documentary one time a can’t remember when, narrated by that relatively famous British nature documentary narrator guy. Fascinating! Bjt can’t remember that guy’s name or the name of the specific nature documentary film.
Wow, great video. That was totally awesome. I wish you guys could’ve caught it by hand. That water is absolutely beautiful when the cold weather comes in.
We had that happen at California back in the early 80s once. Something similar. The normal Albacore tuna that come into the warmer current about 40-60 miles offshore had followed it to the pier in Santa Cruz as for 2 or 3 days the current came to within a couple of miles of the beach. Wild stuff. Great scene of you and Brad trying to grab it.
Tuner, I'm in NW Arkansas and I'm going to Navarre June 23rd to visit family for a couple days and I'm going to do some surf fishing while I'm there ,hopefully I'll catch something.
Tuner🤣 I have got to get down the Navarre Pier to do some fishing finally getting to do some fishing now and actually getting fish on the hook. I know now what it fills like to have (Fish On) it’s suck an adrenaline rush.. thank you for such great content 😁😁
Tuner Matthew great video I almost thought you were going to get him there for a second you guys been not got into the Jacks but you sure got into the redfish can't complain good job feeding that Man's family God bless until next time👍
That was crazy!! Wish y'all took the net down. You would have gotten that 'what" BF tuner?...lol...I live up 'north' dunno how to pronounce it the 'southern' way. Next time...
I lived in Tally in the 70's and only made over to Fort Walton Beach once but never fished there. I usually hung out at St. George's Island, but only fished that once. So, are bonita, false albicore any good to eat?
First thing I do when I get a new rod is mark/scratch measures into it. Such a fast way to measure and you never lose or have to carry a tape or otherwise. I never see anyone do this. I guess maybe because I'm female and not as protective of a rod as guys are 🤭
That tuna was crazy. A cast net would have caught it easy. Hopefully more will be around and y'all can catch some. Cool footage, definitely a first for me to see.
Bearded Bradley in the house!!!! Blackfin, that close......something wasn't right with it!!! May be a good thing you did not catch it!!?? Definitely a tuner!
Awesome !! The video, the water and a BLACKFIN. truely amazing!
Knew where you were right away. We moved from Navarre to Tampa this summer and miss the pier already. Love you both. Tight lines!!
I love living here!
"We look like idiots right now" is the best thing I've heard on the internet all week 🤣🤣 Great video! Tight lines.

Glad you made it to our pier and had fun, hope you'll come back more often until the Gulf State Park Pier is finally completed.
This was awesome to watch! That's where I live. Do you fish?

That "tuner" was crazy. The water on the panhandle is so much clearer than over here on the east coast. Great video
How could you ever beat those awesome water conditions! Nice video guys!
Loved this adventure... ~ BC Canada ..... Salmon .... That water is amazing ... at least got to see the "Tuner" neat experience.

Weather is crazy, I'm in SW Michigan, this morning a beautiful temperature of 58f. You're in the South, low 40s, that's where we should be

That water clarity is amazing
Being in Los Angeles, that LIQUID GLASS water is something I will always envy.
My Granny in Bama makes Tuner Sammy’s all the time!
Would have been so cool if you had caught that tuner bare handed. Was fun watching you two try!
That was crazy!! Wish y'all took the net down. You would have gotten that 'what" BF tuner?...lol...I live up 'north' dunno how to pronounce it the 'southern' way. Next time...
Tooner, another great video. Thanks for sharing.
Dude that was CRAZY!!! Never seen that before…Thnk u for a great video so calm in the gulf big difference here where I’m at in the Atlantic
You started out the video saying you were going to catch some cool fish well at 42°. I totally agree with you even tuner LOL
Funniest thing every watching you two. Tuner
Enroute, soon !! 🏝🐟
Lots of pelagic are common in Navarre for some reason.. pretty cool!
Tuner! Nicely done, Matt!
Cape Hatteras NC In the 80s you'd often get tuna off the strand, while surf fishing, not sure about these days.
Awesome to see, love u guys all together chasing the TOONER . Much love from Baltimore..
Wow that is so wild! It’s always a guessing game here in NC as to what might be swimming on the bottom below the piers….
Nice one, Tuner! Never done any pier fishing in the Gulf, but would like to try. How would you recommend getting started?
That was insane footage!!! Holy cow! Right at my town's peir!
I miss the gulf so much!!!!!
Slow start but ended up a great day. Tuner
Great tuner not fishing trip but almost had it. I enjoy both channels that you two are doing.
Bonefish have been down here in Tampa too since the hurricane. So random
Awesome tuner! Great video as usual!
Loved that crazy video especially that "tuner". RTR
Tunar! That was wild.
That's an ethical way to fish. Chase them down in the water and hand catch them. Epic!
Tuner, tooner was fun action
I lived in Tally in the 70's and only made over to Fort Walton Beach once but never fished there. I usually hung out at St. George's Island, but only fished that once. So, are bonita, false albicore any good to eat?
I don't do telegram and I suspect whoever is offering me your tackle is hacking you. If this is legit pm me on FB.
I've seen tuna and mackerel close inshore before and caught them plenty of times, but never on their own. That was pretty odd.
Don't think I've ever seen the water that clean down there
TUNER...Love your videos!!!
Bro that was nuts!!!
That was fun, thank you
TUNER🐟🐠🐡 deb in Sunny🌤/Cooler🍁 SC🏴

That tuna was crazy. A cast net would have caught it easy. Hopefully more will be around and y'all can catch some. Cool footage, definitely a first for me to see.
You can’t keep the little ones - they need to replenish all the big ones being taken.
Cool. Like it.
Bearded Bradley in the house!!!! Blackfin, that close......something wasn't right with it!!! May be a good thing you did not catch it!!?? Definitely a tuner!
Hey Matt great video… just curious why none of you guys carry landing nets with you to the pier?? Tuner!
Tuner!!!
Saw a yellowfin caught in the surf in Greyton Beach in the late 90s.
