What's the L1FAIL message on the screen when you were doing continuity and diode measurements?

Kerry Wong It means the diode measures outside of the high and low pass limits that were set. The pass range defaults to 0.3 - 0.8V, and the LEDs were well above that. That's one of so many advanced features on this meter.
