Hi Darren, Another great informative and educational vlog, keep them coming bro. We cant wait to see the Vieille Case, Dominica. build project. Have you got the go ahead with it? You and your team's work is top draw. Much appreciated.
Great job, very satisfying. Hi Darren, when you get back to the original cowboy build. It would be interesting to me if you can show the detail of the perimeter GRP vents you fashioned ( the 50mm gaps you left , I understand you will have to install a lid and some flashing) the two flat roofs .
There is never a cavity size requirement but rather minimum Uvalue requirement. Different insulations give different u values. 90mm kingspan full fill will give the required uvalue and only required 100mm cavity.
@@darrenthebuilder is not critic, if i told you you need rebar for any concrete you put, any engineer can tell you that , the concrete will crack without the rebar. .are you an engineer on budlings/ constructions ? correction-- a wire mesh reinforcement in them not rebar. 6x6x10/10 mesh is typical
@@pandav4843 every comment you’ve made is criticism. I’m not an engineer but I’m an experienced builder in the UK and I also have the engineers drawing. It is very rare for an engineer to add rebar to an oversite concrete slab. It’s not necessary here.unless you’re an engineer and you have done the calculations for this job then I am happy to be proven wrong.
Haha your paying your guys too much if they can afford pristine white Nike trainers for work 😂 Well all those slagging you off for putting air bricks in your brickwork look pretty stupid now 😉
Great video, always wondered how those telescopic vents were installed.
Nice work. The concrete slab looks fantastic.

Just learning but i thought new regs said cavity has to be 150mm?

Yeah I think Roger Bisby mentioned something like this recently! Either way, it will be for building control to say.
rebar ??
Not necessary

@@pandav4843 respectfully you should listen to others more and criticise less because you aren’t in the field.
