Il Divo co-founder David Miller joins Kyle Meredith to talk about their album, XX, a new LP that comes on their 20th anniversary as a group and features covers of artists such as Whitney Houston, Gnarls Barkley, and Willie Nelson. The tenor tells us about going independent after parting ways with Simon Cowell, losing founding member Carlos Marin to covid, and how the record connects to their earliest work. Millers goes on to discuss the new vocal tools he’s acquired over the years, what it’s like to continue to hit the highest of notes, and the story behind the album’s original song.
