This is What you dream of finding when looking for a 250r. You've done a great job restoring/upgrading . BEAUTIFUL Machine, just incredible attention to detail.
im in texas too,i had one that i tricked out, stretched swing arm 4 inches then chromed it and the header and just way too much stuff to list,i needed a down payment on a car and sold it,i wish i still had it,just the same way your going to feel once you get rid of it,the money goes fast, the bike is a once in a lifetime,do you really need to sell it dude? keep it
Hi and thank you. I forget the brand but there are a ton of suppliers out there and the are pretty much the same. The difference is in the cores inside them. That will also be your price difference. There aren't a whole lot of modifications that need to be done they fit OK out of the box. What I tend to see in my builds is the radiator supports are bent from being old and that what makes it a chore
That is beautiful don't sale it I sold mine and I kick myself every day I bet you would feel the same its one of them things no matter where you go with it people come and look and talk to you about it it takes people back to there childhood and the 80s happy times that is why people love them

Those rear rims are DiD for a Trx 250 they have the rolled edge and the anodizing looks like paint nothing like the oem look. All maier plastics as well your going to have a hard time getting a decent buck
No sir rear rims are OEM ATC with the correct markings, and are anodized not "painted". Plastics are in fact an upgraded fighting red for the ATC. Thank you, I hope for a "decent buck". Please if you have any advice on market prices for this sort of restoration, please advise.
@@TorqueYork those are DID trx rims do some research atc rims are Hirata The plastics are maier fighting red is the colour (they are not Honda) if someone told you they were they are mistaken even the carb is wrong that’s why the fuel line is kinked the stock carb has the fuel inlet flat so the line comes down and straight in. I’ve been restoring these for years
@@mikesarahmccourts6509 restored them for years also. Carb is upgraded, plenty of the late model 86s got the trx rims. Plaatics are new as stated in video along with carb etc.. Also I think you are under the impression I restored it to a 100% stock spec. Watch the video. Thanks for stopping by Sarah

Wow, I'd love to have that 250r and my old 86v350x parked in the garage!. Simply beautiful
Totally badass, I’m sure haters will caution you on the use of restored VS. Rebuilt, but they’re just envious. This is better than new.
Has to be tough letting that go , I traded mine in for my first Foreman in 88 . A bitter sweet day indeed .
I've got four of them right now and a trx250R. Lol
Beautiful man I hope I find one of these one day
Absolutely gorgeous machine man, great work.
Thank you so much, doing my 85 next!
I had a trike that looked just like that as a teenager. I remember it had a fiberglass rear fender though. Not as light as the plastic ones.
My dad taught me the first sign of a squirrel is a backwards master link clip. Everybody learns it the hard way..
I still do it and catch myself. Thanks for taking a look
