The part number for the controller is: 620G72-7, that is the newer controller.

I can't remember the part number but I googled it and ordered it I think from a Chinese site like Ali Express.

you just cut the controller and connect directly? it's not necessary?

I replaced the controll board after filming the video when it turned up. it is for load and battery protection it is needed for safety.

The box is not just for battery battery protection, it has a heatsink which means there are Mosfets in there to switch on/off the load.
