Got mine from Trail Grid Pro in Maryland and they offered a completely wired unit. I opted for that so I would not have connect a bunch of wires. May still need to extend the wire or wires to the switch as I have to mount it left of steering wheel and the factory wires may be too short to reach.
I really want to do this, but I’ve upgraded my factory head unit to an after market head unit and I’m trying to figure out if I can still use the same kit
I wouldn’t be able to tell you tbh, I just followed the instructions on the box. You can email Runnin4tacos and they can possibly answer your question. They’re pretty fast with response too.
😂 I hate wiring man lol. It was easy enough, i would suggest getting a like a wire runner or metal hangar to run wires or something though before starting.
You look a lot more comfortable doing wiring then you have been in the past man. Don’t doubt your skill. Came out great. Question So I have the oem front and side cams. Do you know if they make this switch for us?? So I can select cams anytime even when driving ??
Ty ty! I don’t believe there is one, I wouldn’t be able to tell you off the top of my head. But I’d definitely hit up r4t for more to see if they have a way of doing that.
@@RoamWithJon yeah I’ll shoot them a pm. I love my front cam when I’m wheeling because I’m most cases it saves me from getting out and checking what I’m about to climb over.
@@Daddydaycare1203 yea that’s what I pretty much got it for. I was at my local play ground where I usually go solo and I just assumed the terrain was the same so I went up over this hill and when I came down I found out the rain had eroded a giant hole with mud on the other side. I completely fell in it and it took a solid 45 minutes to get out lol completely scarred from that day 😂

can you turn on the front camera while driving/parking? (D position)? or only on P position. thx
@@Pazburdem Yes you can, and unlike the oem
Camera, there isn’t a giant black spot in the middle if you’re moving.
