In fact what ThruTheWireUSA is advertising here is not a splitter. splitters just duplicate video. Display port is acting like an external VGA. Best choice is Dock or display link.

something was off on the video, saw same image doubled on 2 of the monitors. watch the different animals heads double on 2 screens. start from 5 min to skip setup.

No software is needed. Everything is configured through your normal windows display properties. There are hardware requirements. Please see the requirements portion of the product page:

You cannot combine multiple units. This product relies heavily on the video card. Most video cards have built in monitor limitations.
i bought a HDMI splitter but it just duplicates and windows does not detect second monitor... anybody could help?

Hey dude got the same splitter (1 HDMI input to 4 HDMI outputs) i have Toshiba laptop with AMD graphics. it is a 260 graphics card series i think and i can only duplicate my laptop screen and one monitor from the three monitors i have. The second monitor duplicates itself across the other two external monitors. Please can you help me fix this problem. Love the video.
+Lachlan Dykes You have to use DiplayPort input. DisplayPort has MST standard which allow you to extend your desktop on all connected displays. You can't do the same thing on HDMI splitter.

HDMI is not capable of multiple independent monitors through a single cable. DisplayPort is the format the magic comes from.

I do not have all those options in my AMD catalyst control center. It does not alloww me to set up and eye infinity mode ??? why is this. ?
Perhaps try installing the full suite or updating it. There is also the possibility your card is not capable. Hard to say without knowing your setup. This was 9 months ago. I hope you got tech support via our website or the phone number top right on our site.
Does nividia software do the same? Or how about a mac system? How could i do this on either one
With windows 10 it can be made with no proprietary software. NVidia does have a similar software, it has some limitations but none are too bad.

+Rafael Motta Windows sees 1 virtual screen which includes multiple monitors, in this case 4. The display settings decide how the areas of the virtual screen are cropped and displayed by the N monitors you have. For instance, you can have a 4k monitor and an old crt monitor (i.e. 1024x768) at the same time. Usually the area of the desktop not covered by the available monitors is blank, but the virtual screen where lies the desktop is always a rectangular region. I wish this answers your question.

It does work you just need to have the ps4 viewed on your pc like with remote play or elgato game capture card but your best bet is remote play and it’s free
