Definitely agree that there was a lot of room for improvement for these. The dungeons were quite fun the first time through, but we've been doing them (or not doing them now) for years without any added content. Adding new content and randomizing order/look/etc. (like Torghast or Island Expeditions) to make the replayability higher would be a huge improvement.
The AH/tradability of the pets is another big issue. Making the pets tradable kills their value unfortunately.

I have not engaged with pet battles much in my wow career. Even though I like the concept of them and I have played since vanilla launched in 2004. I want to get super deep into pet battle come war within. Thanks for doing this.
I'd love to know why you didn't engage before, and why your thinking about it now? That's very interesting!
My only problem with pets is I started in MOP and have no chances for the older pets.. but other then that I love all of it ❤

I started in dragonflight, I have zero chance for most old pets. But that's okay. I have the ones I like! ;)

Armpet is my player name look me up and add me. I will help you with pets lol I have 3 guild banks full of pets so I have 10s of a lot.. haha
So here’s some pet ideas and complaints
My complaint has always been with pets is I have tons of pets in my guild bank that are still in cages because when the system came out they would literally be caged and if you forgot what was in the cage it was a mess. Well I have plenty of them still and they don’t open. So lost pet now.
Also I have pets that are no longer capable that you use to be able to sell if I learn them they will not be sellable that sucks. I earned those I.E payed for them but you know what I mean 😢
-All pets should be capable and sellable.
- I can’t stand lock outs, let me run the system and get what I want.
-note- during BFA there was dailies that made you do pet farming and I was selling pets for 75k lvl25 I hit gold cap so easy lol
- they need to allow me to have more then just 3 of 1 pet id like to have 5 so then i can have all color ways and tiers.
- Be nice if they let us get past rare and we can farm pet to epic and then Legendary.
I know pet ls a small community but if added things that made people gain stuff that adds more power but based on pets it would grow our community.
The things I love about pets is its one of the first things I did in wow when I started and I got a rare bug first go lol so now I’m hooked and take it to the extreme.
In agree with your point of the community being small because blizz wants it small. During mop's launch of pet battles it was interacted with, as much if not more than raids.
They just stopped caring. Not sure why.
And the player base fell off following that.
Also, why get 3 of each pet?
For some, because you can. 3 is the max.
But the same pet can often come in different colors, or stats.
So people may have a speedy version and hard hitting version of the same pet.
Likewise they may want the shiny or alternate color of the same pet.
