Please possible to put all the descriptions: size of the wood like length., width and height. Possible to focus the screws and the locks you made. Thank you in advance 🙏
thanks for the video . I really liked the technique. Does the wall resist humidity? If it hardens with the cement they put on it? how long to dry?, What is the measurement in inches of the mold?, thank you.
Cement is the common stabilizer while planning stabilized mud blocks (SMB), Cement and lime are stabilizers in our construction. For your reference Book Name: Building with stabilized mud Author Name: K.S. Jagadish refer page-6 and page-64.
For fixing one farma(mould), we have used 2 rods and 2 flats(Patti), both the flats have rod diameter holes at both the ends and one end of the rod is welded with washer and other end is free to insert inside the flat(patti) holes. We can use different methods like big nut bolt system etc to make the farma(mould) hold together so that when soil is compacted it manually it will not expand.
Use petrol, kerosene or diesel on the board so that soil won't get stuck on the board, don't use oil because it will get stuck to the wall and will effect the wall treatment with water and it will also block air flow.
Sir please guide me..... 1.Which material is used to plaster in outer wall side ( to protect rain ) Give me composition of material. 2.can we used clay roof tiles with Earth Rammed house? 3. Rate of construction Rammed earth wall?
1) We are not using any external coating for now(we are planning for that) but we have elevated the roof 3 feet outside the building and 3' feet towards the courtyard in our Building-1 so that direct rain water falling on the walls is avoided. For making sample we have used different proportion of cement, lime powder and soil. 1) Soil 93% and 7% cement 2) Soil 93% and 7% lime powder 3) Soil 93%, 3.5% cement and 3.5% lime powder For making Building-1 we have used 91% soil and 9% cement and little lime powder we mixed in water to make the perfect mixture. 2) You can try because even we are doing this work based on trial error method for the 1st time. You can refer Book: "Building with stabilized mud" author name: K.S Jagadish etc 3) Still our work is under process, we have not yet calculated the cost, we assume 70% labour cost and 30% materials cost.

So, how did the walls turn out? Good?
ruclips.net/video/bmEXp9JPsGI/видео.html
Using 9% cement and 91% soil we got quite good walls with good strength.
How deep is the foundation or there's no need for?
ruclips.net/video/2aSEDN2tc3g/видео.html
We need to do the foundation before making the rammed earth walls.
Please feel free to give the suggestions on rammed earth construction.
