Day 181 - “Mississippi Sawyer” - Patti Kusturok’s 365 Days of Fiddle Tunes

I made a new fiddle friend! Aaron Jonah Lewis was born and raised in Detroit and lives there now, but spent a lot of time in Virginia. He won the Galax Fiddle Contest twice and is just a great player.
We taught a workshop together this morning at the Indiana Fiddlers’ Gathering and he just blew me away.
He plays in several bands including the Corn Potato String Band cornpotato.com/
