Glad you're back, I missed your videos! Good luck with your pateron, I hope many people sign up and help you out because your videos give really valubale informations that you don't find on any other youtube channel. :)
Hey Dave, it's me again. So here are a few thoughts: 1. The choice of knot is usually determined by whether or knot the line is under load, and if it requires adjustability. 2. Knots need to be able to be tied under adverse conditions, and shouldn't take longer than 5-10 seconds. 3. Most G&E, yes even union, don't know knot terms like "bight". We wouldn't classify them that way either unfortunately. We usually classify them by whether they can be adjusted. For example: when tying off a frame, should one use a truckers hitch or a high tie? It depends on how much slack the line has, and how much tension the line needs to put on the frame.
Jeff Locke "whether or knot"... I see what you did there. Haha. Thanks Jeff, I'm doing hitches for the next one. Greg told me what a high-ti was the other day. Think you could text me an example? I might include it next week as Greg has told me that you guys use it out there quite a bit.
Smackarevich From Russia with Love? Hahaha thanks man. Hey, do you have an equivalent to b&h photo over there? I wanna make my giveaways international but idk where you guys shop over there and in other countries.
Hey man, I tried to tweet you but dave_donaldson didn't seem to exist :/ I was wondering if you could tell me what large turtles and small turtles are? Hopefully it's not just a UK term. I've done a few searches online but I'm sure you can imagine the info and images I've been getting, not so helpful! Anyways, love your channel!
