I despise Maradona's politics: support of fidel castro, etc. Sadly, Maradona passed away in a very tragic manner. He was a good team mate. Made a lot of bad life choices but i also feel he had bad people around him that influenced him wrongly. Messi was blessed to have gone to La Masía as a child so he had that advantage in upbringing. Both are great WC champions. Both reached 2 WC finals. Messi won more individual player titles.
Considering the fact that we didn’t start the season with a coach and we didn’t make the playoffs last year, we had a good run making it to the conference semifinals 💙🖤
I don't see anybody talking about Garces but man has he come in clutch defensively for us and he can chase down forwards better than any other CB we have.

I was at the match and it was an amazing atmosphere. Keep in mind, the whole front line each had a brace with a physical defense that was given free reign to foul by the ref in the first half. Should have been 7-2.
That ref should be investigated. I’m no loons fan, but that’s the worst reffed games I’ve ever seen. Double digit flops called all for LA. Last MLS game I’ll ever watch. Loons lost before they got off the plane.
About the whistle: I went to the game and they announced in he stadium that the stoppage time was 4 minutes. Since Apple TV said 5 I think the broadcasting team made a mistake

Will Kuntz***** we suffered 3 years with Greg vanney because of his terrible signings. Greg speaks French and he wanted to sign those trash French players we had a few years ago. He really wanted Cabral and gave him a dp contract. Arguably the worst dp in mls history. He also desperately wanted Douglas Costa and he ended the season with more red cards than goals. Will Kuntz came in and deleted the entire roster Greg vanney built. GV was the GM and Coach before Will Kuntz came in.
Greg vanney is an average coach. It took him until the end of the season to finally bench overrated Neal and start gacres. He also never wanted to give our youth player a chance like Perez and Cuevas until our roster was batter with injures. Now he uses them because he finally sees their talent after years and he had a huge fallout with micovic who’s a better keeper than McCarthy and he costed us 1.2 mil. One of the most expensive keepers in mls is on our bench. He only played a few games in league cup then got benched and we ended up losing in the next round with McCarthy as our gk with that resulting of micovic wanting out due to lack of game time

I don't know how I feel about that. I wish he went to the Eastern Conference so I don't have to hate on him. I don't think John Fisher will spend money on the club like he promised, cause when has he ever done that. I actually met Bruce Arena just out and about like 8 year ago, that was a cool experience.
I dislike both monopoly spanish teams. Actually, i despise most of the champions league qualifying teams. They monopolize their countries' leagues. Boring as hell. Europa league is more fun. I miss the old format of champions cup where ONLY the # 1 country winner would qualify. This new C.L. format sucks. Smaller teams like from Eastern Europe, like Steaua, Red Star Belgrade, actually had a chance to win. This new format is like a country club. It freaking sucks. Only the priviledged ultra money teams have a chance.

Galaxy won the MLS Cup in 2011, 2012 and 2014. That was a great dynasty with Donovan, Keane, Beckham, Juninho, Omar Gonzales and a slew of other solid players. So it's been 10 years since we won the championship. I've been a Galaxy fan since 1997 and this squad right here is the best I've ever seen for my team, even better than that team that won all those championships. The Three P's is the most potent attacking force I think I've ever seen in the league and the support offered by the likes of Yamane and Cerillo has been excellent. Our defense could do better at defending set pieces and committing silly mistakes but if the offense scores as much as they do, they will be fine.
