The 'snug' lids always lose elasticity completely, it happened to all my Berghauses from the nineties till now. Never saw people complaining about it. No idea why Berghaus doesn't fix this. I like my Mystery Ranch much much much more.
Looks a nice pack, Wooly. Quite similar to my 45lt Karrimor Predator. I have two 10lt 90 pattern side pouches for it and a 2lt(ish) Lge Omni Pouch. I do like the front access on your pack there though. That is good.
Ok finally I have pack envy! I've got the Fjallraven Singhi 48 and it's my favourite size but nowhere near as modular. Really nice ruck and Berghaus are genuinely bombproof. Nice purchase Wooly mate.
@@RedBranchBushcraft if we get a winter like last year you'll need those tires matey. I've got an old Karrimor Hot Ice 30l that was bought for me new in 1989 and the quality is super, still going strong. Berghaus have always been a great brand but under appreciated in the UK. I do believe the 45-50l is the perfect size for anything other than a harsh Winter camp. Keep going brother loving the reviews.
@@stevemcdermott6199 Grunt proof is wrong, no wait hear me out! 😉 He describes how they are "waistbelts and EVERYONE is doing it wrong" on larger packs they are not waist belts they are hip belts and are designed to transfer the load from shoulders to hips by tightening them and then slackening the shoulder straps allowing the hips to take the load. After a while the procedure is reversed meaning that neither shoulders or hips are taking all the strain, this eases fatigue and prevents injury. Don't believe me look it up, modern pack manufacturers developed them this way and it's the reason the padding sits on the hips and not the waist. When watching ex-mil videos take them with a pinch of salt. Virtually all serving front line combat troops are 18-35 and trained to be fit, waist belts cannot be worn as they interfere with the webbing used to carry mission equipment however hip belts can be worn below the pouches used for ammo, water, etc. Most Veterans are plagued by injuries and riddled with arthritis caused by unsafe practices needed for combat operations. Remember gold plated dog shit still smells mate 🤣🐕🦺💩
i think the 30 is only a day pack, i have the savotta m , i do have the side pouches but there not on in this video, keep an eye out though as their coming
It’s pretty much the same as the Snugpak Endurance, which you don’t like…👍🏾😉
Lol, very different buddy

I'll keep an eye out for it, they seem to be hard to contact
You're going to be a Berghaus fan nowadays...😊
Thanks for sharing.
I'm really liking their bags
You should check out packs by Crib gogh the predator patrol pack would match this for size and the comfort is amazing.

Yes, very similar I think
she has some nice features, like modularity, roughed, side zipper access. But it's a hard sale at $300...
I think it was £150 for me
I actually would love one of those
This is a really nice bag, I'm really impressed with this Berghaus range

I'm really impressed with all this Berghaus range, I'm even looking at the 30 litre one!! But new tires on the truck first

@vonsprague7913 I'm starting to think your right size wise
I love your reviews, Wooly.
Assuming you are outdoors after dark , could you feature some torchs and headlights on your channel?
No problem, have a look at my back catalogue, I've a fair few done already
Looks pretty good buddy, check grunt proof and his take on hip belts.
Cheers Steve, we need a ruck talk vid soon

I believe you buddy just for the simple fact that when I put one on everything gets better. I'm a recent convert to the hip belt.
A good big un will always beat a good little un
Atb wooly with it all.
Cheers buddy
Here he is again… the elusive “Irish bag man”😂😂😂
That's me
👍
Cheers buddy
Nice hat! What brand is that?
It's an Akubra cattleman, class hat, very high quality
No offence but since u don't even bother to use the side pouches, why don't u just go for the 30 instead to save some weight (and money)?
