I really like when hoyo mix does music that represents us fighting the boss. They really nail the feeling to convey grand heroic type of music like Azhdaha and Raiden 2nd phase theme.

Well, you were attempting to destroy the corruption that was poisoning Apep, and keeping the only hope alive for that "The Fire Seed" stable, while fighting back monstrosities. The song was intense and reminded you what you are fighting for.
I know a lot of genshin's ost usually have the same melody as previous ost, and some people might hate this. But for me, I kinda like it. Even though it has the same melody/tune, they change it enough to feel different. They feel familiar and different at the same time.
I think there's a musical term for it, and they call it a 'motif', one meaning is that it is a recurring melody that represents a characteristic or thematic identity of the composition. It's commonly used and really amazing when used in the right moments!
2:18 Sounds like a peak of storytelling! It feels like *"We've come as far as no one else, yet we don't fret, in our perseverance fueled by the courage we fight and win against it all!"* And you can extract all of that out of a single melody! Telling stories by music alone is where genius is seen!
I always feel like the traveller at this point is so fed up with all the sacrifices he had to endure, losing frienda in almost all nations wich is why they were so mad when nahida suggested using her power to fix apep, like at this point in the theme their hearts are screaming at them "no more sacrifices, no more loses, i've come this far... AND I WON'T BACK DOWN NOW"
Ok ok ok,it's just amazing, but let me comment it real quick. I love how in 1st phase, the flute which is a bansuri I think really gives an atmosphere. Instead od the original team where the flute is the principal instrument of phase 1, you used it more as a background noise, making this boss look like so so terrifying, and it's just awesome. Then, 1:54 come breaking the phase, this drop is honestly so good. This represent the change between phase 2 and 3 of the boss, almost like he's falling, like we win. And then, from 1:56 to 2:18, this is so peaceful. And then, the beast wake up again for the 2nd drop that you nailed perfectly. I hope I'm right in my explanation, but wether I am or not, remember that you changed this theme that was already incredibly good to an even better of it, and just congrats for it

Thats like the one thing I was missing in the official release kjsdgslsdg it sounds so good wahhhh I'm sad they removed it when it was so good when I listened to the beta leak (I know it was from the midi sounds but it felt like that represented Nahida during the fight)

The harmonium, sitar and flute used to compose this piece indicates the influence of Indian classical music, just like in many of the other Sumeru background music.

finally, edm didn't really dominate this time For some reason, most of the music themes in Sumeru (characters and weekly bosses) have too much EDM which really dominates, makes me a little weird (because I'm not too interested in EDM) but this time I'm really amazed.
