He's right. As long as there are people singing your songs word for word, spending their hard earned money to watch you perform while you're considered a hero in your hometown, you've already won. You don't need to be given an award, based on the opinions of a select number of individuals in the industry, in order for your art to be validated. The Grammy Awards is not same as it was many years ago. I understand why Drake said what he said and I agree with him about the fact that he called out the Grammy´s because what he said is true in my opinion, but I´m a little tired of the fact that he continues to win Grammy Awards based on his latest albums (Views and Scorpion). His latest albums are a little reductive and the quality of his music now is not as great when you compare it to his first couple of albums. I´m not a hater, because I like his first couple of albums (I especially love his albums "Take Care" and "Nothing Was The Same").
