I also have the DDJ-400 so it should work with v6 right? Well, it seems that everything is working except for my EQ. atleast so far that I know. My filter works but when I take my HI down and start trimming or something else, it doesn't change a single thing. I'm starting to think I'm supposed to unlock that to function with the software which I think would be ridiculous. I'd guess I forgot to put something on or off tn the thing but I've tried everything as far as I know.
Quick question I just recently bought a Mac and I installed RKB on it. I want to activate my (creative plan) on the Mac but it won't let me and says I half to put in a username because it says it "wants to make changes" . Would anyone know which username and pswrd RKB is talking about? It wont let me activate it without that put in!!
bro how do u record your mixes on ddj 200 rekord box stopped there software from recording on the free version and it stops if u use spotify music.
Is your set without subscription. Im not interested in monthly payments & use without pad phones. Just Music library on external hard drive, macbook pro, DJ-200, and free version rekordbox. Is that possible?

hardware unloc / record mix function
i have a quick question about rekordbox 6 that i cant find on the forums
with hardware unlock... i have a DDJ XP1 and a DJM 750MK2
will the hardware unlock let me use record mix function ? or is that a paid subscription unlock ?
💯 it will allow you to record your mix in PERFORMANCE mode (rekordbox.com/en/plan/). You just cannot record streamed music, since you don't 'own' it.
I have a DDJ-400 with a Mac 6.6 version of reckordbox Do I need to still buy a plan to use all the effects as some effects are still locked eg-Noise
Can you see NOISE in the effects panel? If not or it's locked then yes, you will need to subscribe to at least a core plan. You can also customise the COLOR FX / FILTER knob to a NOISE sweep if that is suitable.

no licenses with the new manufactured product as rekorbdox 5 is not supported. so, if you have a flx4 & using rekorbdox 5, it wont work. Download & use rekordbox 6

I have a XDJ RR. I understand that if I connect the XDJ to computer it will have the hardware unlock. I have the license key that come with it. My problem is that I will like to activate the license on the computer so I can use rekordbox without connecting the XDJ. Is this posible?
License key is only for rekordbox v5. If you're using v6 you don't need to worry about the license key. You can still use export and performance mode on v6 if you haven't got the xdj connected
I have a console composed by 2 cdj 350 and a djm850. No one is an unlock device for rekordbox 6. So: 1)Could i buy a ddj 400 and use rekordbox 6 on both console or only on ddj 400? 2) If i buy a ddj 400, can i use the license key to activate rekordbox 5 (so that i could use my first concole (cdj 350 and djm 850) with rekordbox 5 ?
Get something like ddj-xp2 it’ll hardware unlock rekordbox and give you extra pads
So hardware unlock with ddj 400 is basically plug and play
OK so I'm asking this. I just got a DDJ800. Was I supposed to get a card with a Rekordbox license key code on it? Yes or No.
Furthermore, I'm actually paying for the Core plan. I don't see a license code for that anywhere in my account on Pioneer's DJ site.
I can still use Rekordbox with my controller. I just don't have a specific license key. Is this what they mean by Rekordbox being hardware-unlocked? Do they not actually give license keys anymore?

Can I “hardware unlock” rekordbox in multiple machines? I have 1 ddj 400 and a laptop and desktop. Can I unlock Rekordbox performance mode on both? Is it limited in any way of can I unlock on other devices also? Thanks!

I have a brand new XDJ-RX2, and Rekordboc v6. It does not hardware unlock it. What do i do?
Yes it does. Check you properly installed the driver. Head over to performance mode. Make sure you enabled midi mode on the rx2. Check my other videos on hardware unlock and driver install. Also check the manual

@@corriesmith8297 I think you just download the tracks from bpm supreme then drag drop into rekordbox, just like any music file

It would have made more sense to have the key activate the software for those times you might not have your controller connected..
🤦♂️ the key is for version 5...you're free to access performance mode on version 6...
@@therealblackmoose yes but only if the hardware unlock controller is connected , I have other midi devices i would like to configure , but without the controller connected this is not possible, it's a pain in the ass .. why put a licence key in the box for an old version .. it makes zero sense ..

They don't deliver it with it.
So also in Rekordbox 5 it will have Performance mode ! So it detects it as soon as you connect it.😁
whatever happened to the good old paying for your software and owning it forever? this subscription thing is bull$@*! we should still be able to purchase the software outright if you so choose to do so . it seems like the option to choose is no longer your personal right. why should anyone keep paying monthly or yearly for something that you used to be able to purchase outright. give thanks for Serato & vdj still allowing you to purchase the software outright rekordbox is good but I think they dropped the ball with this one. thanks for the video bro.

@@therealblackmoose I received the email in my spam folder. But when I try to click the verify icon it doesn’t work. I did call pioneer DJ. They couldn’t do anything so they sent me to Rekordbox support. I submitted a request and they resent the email, into my spam folder, that also didn’t work. 😂. Thanks for trying to answer tho. I appreciate it.

Is not confusing smh. You subscribe to a plan, and you activate it. Even a kid can get this. It's just like any other subscription for any other program. If you're still confused go to denon. No one stopping you 👏🏾.
@@therealblackmoose I open the box and find a license key that I can't use as my hardware (xdj2) is hardware unlockable. And yet when I hook it up to my pc rekordbox doesn't even unlock it
@@samfisher01license key can only be use for v5. Install the audio driver, open up rekordbox v6. Go to performance mode. Get into midi mode on your rx2
