@@kenanderkroate lol I'm 68 years old now and seen 'em all play, what Roger did no one comes close, the game was different back then, Roger has been through transformation of those ATP 5 setter tournaments, serve and volley era to current era of long rallies of power hitting/endurance. He has adapted the most. Nadal and Djokovic have arrived on to the scene slightly later and follow more of a a classic modern style and are legends. Federer in his own way is pure magic though!

Considering how good Fed was indoors, it’s bizarre he only won one Paris masters title. He lost a few annoying ones. Djokovic ‘18 and ‘13 springs to mind straight away but also Monfils ‘10, Raonic ‘14 and Isner ‘15 were rough.

a little bizarre, but I think it stems from the fact he always played Basel indoors (his hometown tournie) before this and had a strong drive to do well there. Then after Paris there was the ATP WTFs, again a tournie he had more focus on. I think he has no regrets at all given his records at Basel and the WTFs.

this year was an unpredictable year for roger gave a lot of cheap wins to novak mainly due to relying too much on his inside out forehands and volley, his reluctance to take balls on his backhand cost him dear one of his best opportunities this year.

The next day he came back and lost to Isner.
