Been wanting to go back for a 12th parade for a few years now. Hopefully be able to get over next near. Would be nice to go down the Shankhill and see the "blood and thunder" bands and have a beer or 2. Hopefully get the same warm welcome when I was last there, all too briefly unfortunately. No Surrender !!
@@bellascott6478 Any time I have been over before I was made very welcome. Used to go to Cookstown often and had a great time Was in Belfast in 1990 for the tri centennial celebrations which was superb. Hope to be back in the next couple of years for the 12th.

Strictly no alcohol allowed for band members on parade,, otherwise fines or dismissal is imposed. That's how it is today. Spectators can have a drink if they wish, it is a festival after all.
