ISTP female here with an ISFP female friend. I consider an ISFP a "friend" but somebody I don't think I could have a super deep relationship with. That Fi and Te is definitely attractive at first for me (ISTP). However, I start to realize that the ISFP has it's own wants and is in the moment with something else (Se and Ni). So, we're both off doing our own thing. It's definitely not at the deepness I have with INFPs for example. However, I do enjoy playing games with ISFPs. They're usually pretty good at them. It's just hanging out together and finding time with each other that can be impossible at times. Even talking on a consistent basis can be hard. Talking to my ISFP friend on a deep level usually happens maybe every few months. It's a friend to have around but with some mutual deeper level friends. ISFP, however, is a loyal friend when they feel something challenges their morals. They definitely aren't afraid to say or do what should be said if it comes to "defending" a friend. As I think they'd put it. However, this loyalty between the both of us can sometimes be rocky in a way. That Ne trickster is awful. I remember an instance where my ISFP friend thought I was defending somebody that "hurt" them. It took some explaining to get the ISFP to calm down. I've done this too "you're not loyal to me". The Ne trickster for the both of us can be hilarious too. We're completely unaware of the consequences of our actions. We're definitely the types to dislike similar people. If somebody pisses us off, chances are we're gonna say or do something. I think we've both realized that our actions get us into shit. So, sometimes now we ask each other "if we do this will this get us into shit". Best I can do is Ti logic and Ni "if this then this". But people aren't always logical. Definitely try and keep some mutual friend SJs around or NPs. They will help with the Ne trickster. We're definitely comrades though. My ISFP friend will show up in the moment if I need some help. Vise versa of course. Wish I could get closer to them but function wise it just doesn't work.
My moms an isfp, brothers istp and they can either really get on each others nerves or seem on the same wave length (what you described was accurate and it's frustrating watching them because my brother will either try and point out that she doesn't make sense or is a hypocrite while she won't want to think about that and end up acting like a victim that just makes him more mad since he isn't being heard out, or he'll overreact and not consider peoples feelings enough or just in a bad mood and SHE'LL confront him and it's all just AAA as an enneagram 9w8 Enfp)
Takeaways: Ti to Fi: "Help me understand, pls. What am I missing?" My Ti gets frustrated very quickly when it perceives that the use of logic is completely ignored and/or not applied in a given situation. It worries that ppl are stupid which means humanity as we know it is fuu*ked. Patience really is a virtue here bc I go from zero to 100 in terms of stupid zoning someone and just moving on from them without hesitation😅
yes and being illogical is so irritating to us.. its basically being destructive because of your "feelings"? this is exactly why i dont trust how others think because normally they dont

Hello Chase! what is your example to ask others to know who is abstract and who is concrete?
