I remember when Banks went to August Martin High School wit my older cousins back in like 2000. He was quiet even as an older teen, but even when he blew up, he came to the hood wit his chains on n rock wit all of us outside(I was 15). I never seen 50 do that, and even back in 05-06, the streets took 50's pass from coming back and he never came back around til Silverbacks were disappearing. I could understand why Banks wasn't gaining the light like 50, but 50 is forcing him to be outgoing like him. Honestly 50 should have just kept this to himself or at a interview at a radio station. I get it, 50 just keeping it real, but he, Lloyd and Yayo go way back were like brothers, and were like brothers in the industry. Some stuff should simply stay in private especially when it's family business.
@@johnnorwood5474 50 cent has said this multiple times about banks banks knows this and probably doesn’t care. I felt this way about banks before I heard 50 say it
@@fly3xzistence Back up what you said...like the other guy asked, what's so real about Banks? Is there something real about not wanting to make money out of your music by being lazy?
50 is wrong for talking negatively about Banks. Everyone can't be like you, that's like Jay Z or Diddy saying 50 is lazy because he hasn't achieved a Billionaire status.
Not negative, it's the truth. He didn't put the work in to stay relevant despite the talent he had, he only drops mixtapes to nobody, nobody knows he even put something out because he never promotes it. He doesn't make any other moves either. Not talking negatively, just telling the truth. 50 never said he's a bad rapper who couldn't make it in the game, it's just that he chose not to put the work to do it and it is hard work, 50 spent more time working with Banks when you never met the man so he's well placed to make this point. At least 50's ALWAYS trying to make more money and do more moves, that's why he's still relevant despite moving away from the music a little, Banks just drops random mixtapes and that's it. Nothing.
Around 2007 Coca cola bought Vitamins and 50 got paid 100 million and around 2015 his networth was around 155 million. Presently 50's networth is 40 million, so have you seen Banks constantly talking about 50's networth depreciation. What I'm saying is simple "judge not, that ye be not judged".
Fair but he also always had weaker bars than Banks. He may have been lazy but on the rare occasions Banks got to work he let people know why he's the PLK
Lmaoo socially intelligent? Nigga doesnt care about the limelight, back then they would say they wouldnt see banks for 2 weeks sometimes while be at 50 mansion just how he is
@El Deez N the occasions weren't that rare. Banks got a nice catalog outside of the major label releases. He was goin hard on mixtapes for a good while after all the Beg For Mercy and Hunger For More shit.
“Banks is a sure thing. Y’all niggas might blow.” 50 had really high expectations for him, and is disappointed that Banks didn’t meet them. That line shows he had a lot of faith in him.
He did, I went back and listened to his book, and he basically wanted yayo and banks to take off, and become big artist outside of himself. His plan from what he said was to take a back seat to them, and in a way that’s how I felt watching them back then. When it was their album 50 hopped on songs for them and helped push them. Banks became a success in a way, but nowhere near what he could have. In a way yayo too.
50. Im from South Jamaica Queens and we deal with these things in private yo. You outta pocket. The man is a G Unit member and helped you make history. Respect him enough to tell him these things in private. Let Love prevail not arrogance.
How do you know these things weren't dealt with in private? This is basically just explaining his life and why his relationships are where they are with the people around him. Also This is someone using a computer generated 50 Cent voice to read sections of his book/text. This aint even really 50 talking fam.
The more I watch these clips of 50 the more I realize that while he might be a smart businessman, he's extremely selfish and an awful friend. He doesn't really care about others, he only sees them as a tool to earn more money from. Banks isn't lazy, he's just happy with his achievements and isn't greedy. That's what really annoys 50. He can't use him for his own benefit.
He payed Tony Yayo for every show G Unit did even while Yayo was in prison. Yayo came out of prison to 1 mil in the bank. 50 is ride or die for those that are ride or die for him. But you can't ever not be ride or die with fif not even for a second lol
He's disillusioned... Did u ever think of that? He wanted Yayo to be the next 50 Cent... Again another let down. It just so happens that this hustla got more ambition than they do.... All he wanted was more for them. In fact, he coddled them so much that's why they were outta control with a diminished work ethic...
I don’t agree I feel like after Lloyd Banks first album everything he did after that was not the same or on the same level as his first album I always said for years that I felt like something was off with Lloyd Banks and people disagreed with me and told me I was a hater it’s funny though listening to 50 Cent talk about his character I was absolutely right Lloyd Banks was lazy. He didn’t understand anything. He didn’t understand that he was in a position to become a better MC he had a hood mentality that he couldn’t be taken out of unfortunately just not a very smart dude when it comes down to it without trying to disrespect him.
If he got pass billionaire status I wouldn’t be surprised if he start to bash Dre and Em. The guy sucks, changes up on his people every time he levels up

Everything before G unit was cool but those mixtapes are timeless mainly because of Banks. 50 hates not having attention.

Yet you just assassinated his Character.
Nope
All just to sell his book, he talked down on Ja Rule which I can understand, as they had a beef, but Banks is your boy, talked down on Prodigy who just happened to fell off but a better rapper than he is and even Tupac that he doesn't even know, like they've never hang out for him to have an opinion about the life of someone who died decades ago..
Banks have more albums than 50, more solidified mixtapes etc. Call him lazy, but 50 fell off as a musician and struggle to make something of his own.
