Is it really 2 decades...? God, i remember a mate calling me, saying he had sent me this album in the post. It was the best thing ever. God damn allah. He was right on the nail.... I'd bet the house, this will sound Tres Bon in 20, 10 years... tekno party.
🤭 Have you listened to Aphex Twin, autechre, boards, etc..? Those are the best. They are in a superior level than all the repetitive techno in the world. Techno is for be stoned, those mentioned are for listening good music.

I remember seeing Hawtin play at the Glade Festival in 2006 for 2 hours. Never heard minimal before that. Really interesting and inspiring to see/hear someone work up a crowd using such tiny slices of sound. Big
This mix opened my mind and the world to minimal techno. I remember hearing this in 2006, along other artists like Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos, Loco Dice, Audio Werner, Mathew Jonson etc. Brings back memories! Also, I don't think anything as inventive or interesting as this been done since this mix in the genre? Correct me if I'm wrong.
Yep, this was definitely a milestone, so as most of the m-nus catalog back in the days. I'm still in this instead of Boris Brejcha and the faster music (some sort of eurodance IMO) that again is starting to take over. For me it's the most inspiring kind of techno.
mythical underground afterhour Balmes 64 in Barcelona, between 2003-2004 Monday morning, SURPRISE for everybody!! plastikman was giving it all there... free admission, the best of each home was there... 😵😵💫 Luckily there were no social networks or smartphones, otherwise those things are impossible
insane. 2023 👌
Incredibly good mix, after all these years it still sounds like something from distant planets in the year 30 000.
the more you know!

I agree, this is one of Hawtins best mixes of all time. The mastering on each track is so crispy.

Nothing has and probably nothing will for some time to come. This was Richie’s peak as a producer, even he has failed to surpass it since.
@@paul-ww8zt I agree completely on the mix and also on Richie Hawtin's productions/direction since.
Check out leáfar legov. And the record label giegling.

From 30 minutes through to about 57 is a fucking journey, it never gets old.

The Detroit Grand Puhbas - Dr. Bootygrabber.
Is this a set or an album?
kind of a compilation but with a twist since the tracks used are remixed almost to the point of being unrecognizable
let's say he took parts of different tracks of different artists, so normally one track here contains 3.
