Absolutely love this. indian scout being on wish list of bikes i will never own or ride, it created my love for motorcycles at a young age when taken to see the wall of death by my parents, loved the look and the sound then / still best sound for me now. 59 year old biker bloke, thanks for vid.
I too remember seeing one at the wall of death when I was about 6 in 1954. I came here to see and hear how it sounded back then. Aren't computers great? Written from my sickbed at age 74.
This video of yours must be the one that has inspired me the most. I have felt very identified with him. Every once in a while I should see it and it brings back that feeling of enthusiasm that only old traditional motorcycles produce. Thanks for keeping it there so I can see it. best regards
Watching this brought me back out of my misery that I'm in due to the everyday routine. It has put a cheesy smile on my face, and when I will wipe it off on the way to work tomorrow, I will fold the napkin with it inside and put it just next to my heart, and carry it there till the day I will ride something like that, somewhere like that. I know I will. Thank You.
what a cool video! Puts a smile on my face and i cant wait until the winters gone and the spring begins and i can back on the road again with my 36 Harley Vl! pleas post that video with NO music, i like to hear that engine running !
Wholesome grit and soul. Thanks for sharing. The music track wasn't necessary. Many folks would be thankful just for the engine soundtrack. I wished more motorcycle videos creators would get that.
+Kevin Lee Thanks for your comment! But as I said before...the sound quality during the filming was pretty bad (a lot of wind noise thanks to the build-in microphone). Be sure, I would use less music if it would be acceptable... Maybe next time with external mic :) ...I am not a pro filmmaker...this was my first attempt to create something. Thanks for watching and ride safe!
Hey Chris. Thanks for your feedback. This is my second attampt to make some video, so I am glad you like it. Bike is not mine but I'll refer to the owner. Oh and it was captured with the basic microphone so the wind noise was everywhere. That's why I add some music.
No worries mate, you'll find most bike/car people really just want to hear the machine! You don't have to completely eliminate the music, it would be appropriate for the intro & ending. Sorry if I sound too critical!
Even though modern machines are more reliable and handle far better...I don't think they'll approach the character the old iron had. Plus, this motorcycle is the same model Burt Munro did his speed run on at Bonneville back in the '60s!
You have clearly never experienced a vintage Indian, Henderson, ect. They were built for reliability; and to tractor standards. Were built for the rough unpaved roads of the era. The best riding bikes on modern roads, bar none. Our Indian has at least a 100,000 miles (our estimation) and the engine has never been apart; at least in the 64 years it's been in my family. I'd call that reliable.
Qrwa! Oglądam to po raz kolejny i nie mogę oderwać oka i ucha od filmiku. Kocham ten klimat. Chłopaki odwalili kawał dobrej roboty- wiadomo, bracia słowianie...
Going from a jockey shift to a suicide shift, would be a tall order. I'd have to spend a few days riding in a parking lot to master it. When the jockey first appeared on police bike's, some motor officers still preferred the tank shift.so there must be something special about it.
AWESOME! loved the cinematography and the bike, including the sound of the bike. Didn't need the music... By the way, that bike sounds so fierce, it's hard to believe that it probably only made about 18 horsepower...
Thanks, captures the fun of riding an old Indian on country roads, did float needle stick? Fell off back of buddy's 101 when he punched it. I'm 82 now , too old to ride my 48 Chief.
@@jaroslavstariat8612 Děkuju. Profi práce to rozhodně není, nějaká půjčená kamera a gopro. Od té doby jsem se už vybavil vlastním náčiním. Snad něco zase natočím. Tentokrát to bude ale asi auto...:-)
Thank you sir. I am the author of this video but not an owner/rider of this Indi. But as I know...this lid is very very old, so I would say it's impossible to get it anywhere.
I'm sure Dad used to commute to work on one like that, only I remember the tank being squarer and longer. Forever breaking down. He gave it to a passer by in the end. GUTTED? Me?
Love how you still ride it hard. Thats why it was built! So awesome
GREAT VIDEO. GREAT BIKE. GREAT SPIRIT. YOU PRESENTED IT ALL.

Cut the crap.
Let the indian sing his song!

Ultra cool. the best video presentation of riding a rusty iron horse.

That looks so dam fun! Riding a motor cycle is a real pleasure in life. Forget the JOB, the PRESSURES of life, and all the BS and just ride!
I LOVE this video. I have a 1943 741B Scout myself and a couple of 1940's Harleys.
thank you for this little slice of heaven
my great uncle clarence rode a 1921 cross country back in the day... oh man what a bike
You are very lucky to own such a beautiful old classic...
Look after it!
I love the music. It fits perfectly to the film style.
That was a blast - thanks, Go Indian Scout's !
Love, love, love everything about this video - INCLUDING the music!! GREAT JOB!
How can you not like this? AWESOME!
You look really good on that legendary bike, that was awesome!
Great video!! That’s a bad ass bike right there!! Love those old Indians!!
Awesome !! Thought soon to be a new 2015 Scout Owner .. They will never be like this ..
Wow thanks so much for posing real cool old motorcycle 2000 would rather hear the bike than the music
I love how at the end you are real and show that it is very temperamental...I build bikes that have the "Bet no first starts"! lol.
Would have been a fantastic video - but the music killed it!
Though the Music made it great right in sync with his riding ..

I'm giving you a like for your cool old Indian and your great camera work. The music was unnecessary.

Alonzo Branson - actually very few modern motorcycles handle as well as the Indian Scouts from the late twenties to early thirties.

Munro had a scout , but a 1920 scout. This one is a little bigger, older...
