To anyone bashing the mountain, it's NC in the southeast of the US. The mountains are old and small. This is the best thing we have around here and we don't complain. No it's nothing special, but it's all we have so we make the best of it!
An amazing quality ty has is that he never gives up and when he falls it doesn't take him a second to get back up. He has shown this through all his Vlogs.

And Ty, if you're looking for a place to go you should go to any beach where there's some Spring Break parties going down, it's that time of year again.
I went snowboarding for the first time in March too. I can definitely relate to the video, except for the fact my experienced friends just threw me onto the green slopes in Keystone. Definitely fell a lot more than you guys did that first day. Had a blast. Ended up going down some blues on the last day.
Gray I also had so much anxiety when I went skiing had so much fear of going to fast and falling and breaking bones but after a little while I got over it but still not good at it.. 😂😂
Ty that's awesome I just got home from skiing in Maine! I have a ski house and I snowboard its so fun I new you'd love it. Hope there's more footage of it or next year too!

Got back from a 3 day snowboarding trip it was sickk! One thing I've learned nd stuck with is the faster you go the easier it gets... 3rd time going I can do jumps and 360s, turning is hard for a beginner you learn from experiences. Its an expensive sport and it's there first time going so don't hate... Not everyone can go to a resort in Colorado and ski/snowboard a whole week... Wear helmets tho man I got my 3rd concussion from snowboarding a few years ago lol
I know it's a bit late, but all you gotta do is :Toe edge, Heel edge and bend your knees like suspension. I know it's easier said than done:) You learnt really quick though! A week on a real mountain and you'll have it!
Ty, next time, don't just turn heelside. You need to turn toeside also. And whenever you are just going straight, stay on an edge. That way you wont keep turning, and you wont catch an edge as easily. Which means your board wont just hit a bump in the snow, which will just cause you to fall. I started snowboarding when I was 4, and have fallen a lot! You did good for your first time!

+Hunter Macduff For me it went vice versa learning back 180s on a snowboard helped me with back 180s on a skateboard but powerslides on a skateboard helped me with my white rooms which are when you quickly push onto your heel edge kick up a bunch of powder and ride through it but I got alot better at snowboarding when i started skating and better at skating when I started getting good at snowboarding

you should of went with someone who had experience. my first time snowboarding i went with someone who was good and he taught me everything i needed to know and by the end of the day i was good. i fell a lot but in the end it was all worth it!
