I was so little but I remember in Orlando FL it was some mess going on they locked him out the church it was church pastors bowing up at him but it was like watching Jesus getting persecuted he was peacefully while the elders that locked him out the church standing in front of church like thugs..this man leed by example
Why or how did they vote him out as Presiding Bishop, seem like they were friends, Owens was with COGIC for a longer time , didn’t GE leave COGIC , how does he come back and beat the guy who is already Presiding Bishop, seems like COGIC doesn’t honor longevity
I agree Bishop Owens should have remained Presiding Bishop until his demise. He was in a property dispute with Derreck Hutchins. So in the next election the General Assembly voted Bishop Owens out and Bishop Patterson in. All church politics.

Morticin Davis there was a charge levied against Bishop Owens (abuse of power) about removal of a pastor in Florida
That wasn't Bishop G.E.'s first time running. He ran in 1996 against Bishop C.D. and lost.
