goodwood festival pits ac cobras and e-type jags against the mini's - minis good in corners, combatting the bigger cars straight line speed, might be fun to try on a track that suits both - snetterton for example
@madwelshbiker3710 I’m more than happy to make a trip to sunny Norfolk. My prediction would be: - Corvette: 15secs/lap faster than the mini - 2002: 10 secs/lap faster than the mini - Lotus: 2 secs/lap faster than the mini That will be my next video 👍 Unfortunately our VTC2 mini is hopelessly out-gunned on all sides, even corner speed. From what I can tell so far, it’s mainly because we don’t have the same control of the chassis movement that you’d see of a modern day ‘65 Cooper running in a historic series, unfortunately we aren’t afforded the setup adjustments to try and achieve similar results in AMS2. Chassis aside, I think we are also about 10hp down in what they currently are able to squeeze out of the engine after 60-odd years of learning and development. To be fair though, the AMS2 version does move and behave similar to still images I have seen from the ‘60s, so I think what we have is a true (ish) representation of how it was back in the day. All the best Andy
