Great movie but whats up with the cheating spouses? The movie completely tries to make us root for the spouse cheating and no one ever talks about how fucked up that would be for a child going through a trauma 😂
I think that in the end she chooses to stay with her husband not because that's what she only wants, but for Grace. You're right - Grace has gone through it and is finally in a good place and Annie could never split the family up without destroying grace. She came to Montana to save Grace, and now that she's been saved she goes back to her family, recommitted to making it whole again. so even though it's not explicitly said that Annie leaving her husband would be catastrophic for grace, her decision to commit to her marriage and family shows it. In the end, Grace is her priority. (at least that's the way I see it :) )

She was so well cast for this film
So distant yet so down-to-earth...I just love her charisma❤❤❤That warm energy radiating around her presence...
I love the ending of the movie more than the book.
