Best sermon I ever heard - Stay & play! 😃
Dam, Scott, I’m pumped and ready to stay and play 🕺🏼
I loved the light pastels, and slow motion blurs. You're the Monet of bird photography Scott!
Thank you sir
Setting the WB to florecent can really help when the time isn't perfect.
Wow, very impressed with the photos and the tips, can't put a price on them. Thanks, Scott.
That was awesome Scott.,. I have never tried this before.. These are missed opportunities... But, better late than never....
Good luck!
Great video and I agree these daily habits can change our life. The two that changed my life the most are meditation and switching my phone off a hour before I go to sleep.
I love the idea of being able to do that..... It's great that you can "turn off" a bit
Good show. Good tips. Now I'm inspired to go see the snow geese, again.
Lol, I know you will!
This episode definitely inspired me to experiment with blue hour bird photography. Also, I plant to look back through my Lightroom Catalog for blue hour images I have made previously.
awesome!
That is a lot of WOW factor
Thanks Gimbal man lol
Thanks a lot for the feature and kind words :) helpful tips and great blue hour images displayed 👍🏻
Beautiful work my friend
Some great photography here. I get my best blue hour waterfowl photography in the spring. Always look forward to it. So much fun.👍👍
Its coming!!
Great video and advice. I hope I can get some good images using all these new tips 😁
Only way to do it. Is to do it !
Scott - great as always. DeNoise has really improved and is a very useful tool.
Absolutely
A great informational video, all the tips are very useful. I especially like the “stay and play” tip. On the higher iso images do you ettr to help with the noise? Thanks for sharing.
Thanks I gotta be honest, with camera bodies being essentially iso invariant, and anything that is white, I am very protective of the highlights so I generally underexpose a hair to make sure I dont blow out anything. Usually blown highilghts are a big concern with blue hour images because the light is indirect.
I love these educational videos, that do not focus on specific gear and are more about technique, while some (wildlife) photography channels barely speak about technique, but bombard you with camera/lens reviews. Nevertheless it would be really helpfull to me, as i am a beginner, to know the focal lenghts the photos were taken at, because i find myself very often looking at pictures and thinking "with my 70-300 this is simply impossible". Knowing what focal lenghts more experienced photographers use and especially seeing pictures, that were taken at
odd thing..... Gear videos get 5-20 times the views. People are obsessed with the "stuff" more than the "why/how" Amazing how many people with drop 10-20k into gear, but never take time to study in the field or learn editing, etc. But this is the way things work. Your comment on focal lengths is great..... could be an interesting video.... i'm all over it. 300mm and under for bird photography.
Excellent blue hour workshop Scott! Lots of really good tips and examples. As always I appreciate your expertise and your time and effort that you put into these videos! Thank you so much!
Appreciate that Sheri!
