I really respect the fact that they let Hwasa sing in Korean in this featuring 💖 People always want idols to do things in English, and I understand why, but like, I love to see Korean music getting popular and into the mainstream scene because, at least for me, it really shows that the language barrier doesn't matter when it comes to music. Korean artists shouldn't feel obligated to sing in other language to accomplish something outside of their country.

alliguidoo nobody is saying they shouldn’t sing in their mother tongue, it’s simply a fact that a (good) song in English would sell better/get more airplay for most non-English (or non-Spanish) speaking artists, it’s mainly a financial decision. Also in Japan, an effort is made by many Kpop companies to deliver a Japanese language album for the Japanese market, yet for the anglophone markets the same effort is not made, so I see both sides.

Yes! Of course go to their channel and watch their music vids but I think where they really shine and stand out is their live performances. IMO they are even better live, they hold nothing back when they performed live and that’s how they’ve gained so much respect within the industry and the general public and they’ve worked their butts off to get to where they are since they come from a tiny company. I’d urge you if you’re of the mind to at least check them out, watch their immortal songs performances or their immortal songs medley. The four of them (Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein and Hwasa) are genuinely good people and break so many of society’s norms by being brave enough to be themselves and they inspire others to break the mould too! 😋
