Great video I’ll need to rewatch this one. Lots of wisdom in it.
I would love to know what some of your dreams are for yourself in the music industry
You have already accomplished way more than most people ever do
Also, I get what you’re saying about comparing our songs and productions to the best, such as Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift
But I feel like those artists have a lot more things going on than even a brilliant songwriter could complete with
But I do agree that writing songs so great that people have to take notice is the best step anyone can take for their career

Hey man - glad this video was helpful! Just trying to share what I’m currently focusing on and hope it can encourage others along the way.
My future career goals have changed. At one point, I would’ve said I wanted to be aiming to write huge hits for huge artists every single day. While you can win doing that, the vast majority of your days will be spent on songs that never see the light of day. And for a song to come into fruition, let alone succeed in that business model, is SO far out of your control. It’s just a grind / lifestyle that I don’t think is for me.
At this point, my goal really is to have the freedom and flexibility to work with people I want to work with, and work on what I want to work on every day. Sounds simple, but that really is the long term goal, freedom. I also have some general long term revenue / royalty goals.
No doubt some of the huge artists like Sabrina or Taylor Swift are huge for a reason. I think the sentiment is just to set the bar for your work super high, and do whatever it takes to get your work at that high bar. Hope this helps!
