Love my orcatorches. I have the D550 and aiGear ones that clip on my mask strap. D550 is really compact and bright, one charge easily lasts a full dive at full brightness.

I've had a D570 for a few months and it's great for lake and river diving. The laser works well pointing out critters to other divers and it's plenty of light for the night dives I've done (urban environment with plenty of nearby lights). I'm not diving anything overhead, and not terribly deep, but think it would likely be too dim for a dive with no ambient light. As far as run time, I could believe 2 hours on a battery. I'll leave it on during my dives as it's a good locator if we get silted out, and it's still burning well after about an hour and a quarter total dive time for the day.
I may add a bigger light this summer since one place I dive has enough turbidity that this light is about at its limit at 60', and I want to get some deep water training. I'm very happy with it, and would buy it again if I lost it.

The light sounds like good for open water primary light especially if it could be coupled to good man's handle.

Hello Hojo in SC, that is a great question. It would all depend on the turbidity of the water.
It doesn't appear that 2 batteries is standard.
