AIIEA - Role Model
Since its inception our beloved organization AIIEA has contributed to the all round development of LIC. The 5 crore of initial investment in LIC became more than thirty two lakhs of crores today is not a mean achievement. It was made possible by the unflinching loyalty and contributions of AIIEA to LIC. Protecting LIC in the public sector became the priority of us.
LIC settles claims to policyholders to the tune of 99.86% today. LIC is an institution where there is not even a single incident of corruption has taken place. This wonder is happening in LIC because of AIIEA. The Union taught its cadres that 'peoples money is for peoples welfare' and to be honest in serving the policy holders. This made LIC a corruption free organization. The policy holders repose complete faith in LIC. This situation arose because of the struggles to protect LIC was waged by none other than AIIEA. Today the market share of LIC is around 75%. AIIEA is the major contributor for this achievement.
The employees welfare is another area continously being taken care by AIIEA. After Nationalization right from standardization of wages to the last wage revision and all other benefits today employees are getting is the product of the struggles of AIIEA. Many benefits hitherto unknown was secured for LIC employees through struggles by AIIEA.
Today AIIEA is also working for the upliftment of poor and downtrodden sections of the society. AIIEA always stand with the people affected in the society by injustices. We are proud to be members of AIIEA on the occasion of the 70th formation day of of great organization AIIEA.
