That's so cool! Just really expensive.. I have always wanted to do woodwork. My grandfather was a professional and made me tons of nice custom furniture.
hi@@EmmasCottage happy Newyear am a balloon artis need to keep up with the trends with wood backdrops being used so much I have a handy husband, but Stright lines is a must, so we are so excited to try it out will definitely keep you posted, and we also look forward in seeing your creations
Noticed you haven’t posted any Goliath videos after unboxing! How many projects have you made? Is there another place your posting current content? I’d love to see your projects
Due to our move, we had Goliath in a box for many months. It’s now out of the box and working amazingly on a few Christmas products we’ve been making! I post to Instagram and TikTok more often than RUclips. Check EmmasCottageDIY to find more short tutorials over there. The Goliath projects will be posted over there soon!
Net yet. We have successfully been able to cut with it but the software is very glitchy which makes using very frustrating at times. Until they make some updates, we’ve stopped promoting this product.
Hi Emma! I was thinking of getting an CNC but remembered that you had a tutorial on the Goliath CNC. I was wondering have you made anything with it? Also, are you planning to upload another tutorial on Goliath, or do you have another channel? How was the software? Is it user friendly? Thanks
We have not used it for a while because we moved and are still sorting through boxes in the garage. We did make Halloween and Christmas silhouettes that turned out great. The software was a little finicky but we’ve heard they’ve had some updates.
@@EmmasCottage well thank you Emma. So once you and your family are settled. I would love to see more tutorials on Goliath. But thank you for responding.
Very curious about this machine. What’s the max size it can cut and what’s the max thickness it can cut? I’m looking forward to your videos on this machine.
It’s turned out to be quite a learning curve. We have made a few things that I have shared on our Instagram and TikTok of you want to check them out at Emmacottagediy
Here is the google definition: Computer numerical control (CNC) is a method for automating control of machine tools through the use of software embedded in a microcomputer attached to the tool. It is commonly used in manufacturing for machining metal and plastic parts. The shorter version….. you work with a software within the computer to send the design to the machine that will cut it. In our world it’s like a Cricut for larger/thicker materials such as metal, wood and plastic.

Goliath currently cuts a maximum of 9.8 x 6.5 ft and a minimum of 2.62 x 2.62 ft. It currently cuts about 2" thick.
Very interested
Stay tuned! We've been learning the software so we can start bringing some tutorials!

I wish she would have explained that too.
