Exactly I do not agree with any law that says weed should be illegal, that law has ruined more lives than it has saved and any prison time for a harmless plant which can save the planet and save lives is not justifiable. Sure you can say it's their laws and you should know better, but I personally still think she was innocent, there is corrupt people known for setting up foreigners in other countries and this isn't the first time it's happened either. I have a lot of empathy for Schapelle Corby what a horrific experience for anyone to go through, especially for weed really a sad story and I hope one day weed can be legal around the whole world because it can really help so many people and even save the planet especially hemp.

To think about what she went through for smuggling cannabis into Indonesia is horrific. I absolutely understand that each country has its own set of laws that must be abided by and respected, but to think about it in comparison to someone like Sterling Free who was just sentenced to 8 years (with possibility of only serving 2 years) for kidnapping a 7 year old and sexually assaulting her, it just seems so wrong and unjust.

What pisses me off the most is that there had to be at least 15 people who knew for a fact that that poor girl was innocent and that those drugs were planted on her. May those people rot.
Her prison mate said Corby confessed of having prior knowledge of the drugs being in the bag and that Corby said she had completed the same international drug run successfully without detection twice before.

Back in 2004, an insider told me that baggie handlers working in Australian domestic terminals were putting cannibis in travellers bags, and taking them out at the next destination, in Schapels case, a superviser was standing by and the baggie handler could not take them out.
It hurts my heart to heart her story. No one deserves that much time for a crime like this. Even if she did do it, She was young and made a stupid decision. She didn’t deserve all of this. I truly wish her the best and I hope life will be sweet for her from now on.

In Australia in the Public Health system we give people involuntary Electric Shock Therapy if they are Catatonic. Because they are are unable to make decisions, it is a mostly a life saving treatment as people do not move or eat or shower, as they are so depressed. - Registered Nurse - Mental Health.

Well unfortunately life got in the way. I moved away, had a family so wasn't that easy to go over to Bali and lost contact when she was over there 🤷♀️ I'll still be here for her though of we do get in touch somehow. We went to a TAFE on the Gold Coast for the Beauty course.
