He's got a point. Let's preach the Law & Gospel to people so they know the truth about God's holiness, eternity, and salvation through Jesus Christ.
I’ve always been torn by the quote by him because, first he is right, however, the fact he can break it down so well means he has heard the message but still rejects it, so it’s hypocritical to criticize the very thing that you’ve already heard! If he’s heard it than what he is saying is his excuse for not believing it, my two cents!
Penn has read the Bible every day for years and years. The more light he has the greater responsibility and judgment. That could also be another indictment though when you have an atheist reading the Bible more than most professing Christians.

Just because you heard and understand something doesnt mean you have to accept it as truth, Its the path you took but Penn took another, as did I. Penn is just very honest about it, being an atheist doesnt automatically mean your on a quest to purge the world from religion, for alot of us its just a belief about the world like any other, we heard the story about god and simply dont think its true, we werent convinced.. and thats it. Belief(or lack of) isnt something you control, its something your convinced of and cant help but to believe after that. Penn knows this
@@MrTnbopp123 agreed with almost everything you said and your response was very refreshing thank you! I agreed with Penn he was right in what he said! I’m just wrestling with him hearing the message, obviously someone shared the gospel with him or at least helped explain it to him, so doesn’t that confuse what he’s saying? Cuz someone loved him enough to share it with him. Thanks 😊
