Calv just saying the s1 isn’t being drive by 4 wheels all the time it’s mainly front wheel drive then sends power to the back when it needs to👍 great video though.

The S1 is not a full time quattro, the car is always front wheel drive. Only when it loses traction in the front, the rear wheels help. Therefore your power loss argument of 5% more is invalid for this car.

Yeah. S1 like the pocket equivalent on an s3 (both manual of course) which has 300hp vs 230ish. Amazing how that weight balance output.

not true, the s1 has a 60/40 split all the time and can send 50/50 when it needs to
The s1 is twice the price and definitely not twice the car so think that’s the most important stat.

Tambo74 The gti is still the best hot hatch. Look at any car reviews on YT or on the internet. The s1 isn’t classed as a hatchback. It’s a super mini.
