- Former US President Donald Trump and Vivek Ramaswamy have sparked a whirlwind of vice presidency rumours after the pair arrived at a Mar-A-Lago gala together on Super Bowl weekend.
The 'Golden Evening for a Golden President' event was organised by the 'Trumpettes', a fan club dedicated to supporting Donald Trump.
Online footage showed the 45th US President entering the Mar-a-Lago Club, accompanied by his wife Melania and Vivek, along with his wife Apoorva.
Social media buzzed with comments suggesting Ramaswamy as a potential vice president.
“I wonder if vivek will be vice president? I have never been so impatient in my life to know who the vp pick is. Waiting sucks," an X user wrote.
"This is what the country needs. President and VP. This needs to happen," another wrote.

Unfortunately our system doesn't have any such guarantees. I've been around a long time and good presidents and politicians are a rare breed. Reagan had his VP, but he was no Reagan and didn't do as well as Reagan would have done. Trump now has some experience dealing with the swamp, and I hope it's enough to make some headway in cleaning up some of it up this time. We can only hope that those who believe as he does can stop the deapstate and correct the direction we are headed.
