Kim I’m so glad you’re back! I thought you were sick. You have so much sunshine, knowledge and so much to give you are not and could never be a failure! You are just finding your way. I have my own business too with great clients. And I am so pulled right now, my love of my clients or my love of gardening and my other love, saving old furniture from the landfill. I also want time to have a bunch of stray dogs! I have two sayings I’m going to share, you have to love what you do to be good at it! The other is, I have never had everything I wanted but god has always provided me with everything I needed! Love you girl and you’re going to be okay!

Thank you for doing this video. It really spoke to me. My little back yard flower garden has always been my escape and happy place and this summer life just took over. I'm left with a mountain of weeds and started avoiding going out there and began associating the work in the garden as another burden. I do think your honesty and struggles made me face this. I'm feeling so motivated now! This weekend the beds will get cleaned out and ready for new life again! I'm actually super excited!!!! Thank you so much! You really made an impact on me!

I found your channel today. I planted a fall garden 2024 for the first time. I fell down my basement stairs and sprained my ankle. I asked my husband to take me to my garden outback after 3 weeks, I tripped and fell over the garden hose. I feared going back, so I have done nothing with my garden. New Years Eve I finally went out and looked at it. The collards, kale, and cabbage is doing great , but some not so much. I understand it's not the end. It's delayed but not denied. Continue to trust God! Family is everything! God will give you the desires of your heart. You walked away for family. I can't wait to walk this journey with you! I can't wait to see our gardens this spring/summer after winter sowing with you. I will be 61 in February, and I tell everyone that I am 29 for the rest of my life😂

Welcome to 50 sister 🎉 it’s not as bad as we all thought when we were younger! Actually it’s better. Kids are grown, more financially sound, wiser and you can accomplish the things your 28yr old self couldn’t because of the aforementioned. I had to make a hard shift at 51 and work outside the home. I try to look at the bright side and thank God for the opportunity. He has our back. Debbie ❤❤❤️

@@thesoutherndaisyllc Hi Kim I’m in zone 8A. Most excited about Tithonia I grew two plants this year but got a late start beautiful plant. Anise hyssop, Mission marigolds and Dahlias are definitely what I’m so looking for to. I had a lot of success with Coleus and Cosmos this year . I have so many seed packs too many to list lol. Celosia is probably the one that I hope will do well I a little nervous about starting that one. I can wait to see my yard next year with all the flowers, I try my best to pick seeds to grow that are beneficial to bees, butterflies and birds. Will always follow you, you give such great information and I love your videos. So blessed to have found you. GOD bless you !!!!

I moved to my current house two years ago. I have been slowly working to create a beautiful yard. I have no training other than The University of RUclips. But, I have the declaration my 3rd grade self made when in the middle of a beautiful flower garden "someday, I will have a yard just like this!". I am 61 and finally have that opportunity.

Im so looking forward to winter sowing this winter. I've been struggling this year to get back on my feet. My life stopped years ago from fibromyalgia, abusive surroundings. I seriously put my health in God Almighty's hands. I found your Winter sowing and I started to rebuild. I have herb seeds I'm starting with, yarrow's, coneflowers, to which I have never had luck with. I now have contact with 3 brothers. 2 that got me started in Honey Bees. I have 7 hives now. One brother tilled me some garden spaces. I had the best garden produce zucchini was plenty this year. I've had about 5 years where I started and couldn't finish. Now I'm going to finish. I love and appreciate you so much.😊❤ The "set back" will be the strength to pick up and start again without falling again. Prayers🙏♥️Love and hugs

Sometimes life throws a curve, and changes are needed. We get so down when we think we have not accomplished our desires...but that is when we GROW! YOU are young! We are 70 and purchased a farm! We have planted fruit trees and I am watching because my dream is pollinator meadows. SO,.it is never too late to keep going forward to bring Glory to GOD for giving us passions, talents, abilities, and health to keep going! I call this project "Our Last Harrah!". We are loving it together! Never give up on your dreams!
You don’t need to explain. Sometimes life happens….shit happens…..just keep smiling and wipe away those tears. Ive had to go back to work 9 hours per week so that I didn’t feel like a financial burden on my family. Flowers and vegetables are starting to appear and I am busy until sundown now trying to fit it all in. The blessing that I have from going back to work has been the ability to be part of our community again which I did running my own candy store for 15 years and had to close due to my lease running out last year and my landlord wanting the shop space for himself. I started my flower growing journey over 30 years ago and divorce and relocation forced that dream to end and I spent 15 years running my business to financially support my children. With the candy store closing it gave me back my dream of flower growing at 53 but boy oh boy has it been a busy 12 months getting to this season. These are the life journeys that we take and there should never be guilt when it comes to finances and raising our children. You’ve got this :)

Hey Kim, I get it! I have felt the same way. From another RUclipsr to another, I felt like God wanted me to do RUclips and teach others what I have taught myself. I was working fulltime as a Sonographer (Ultrasound) and really wanted to quite as long as I could replace my income. I had an opportunity to go part-time, so I took it. My channel is no where what I wanted it to be with subscribers and income. However, I am still hanging in there and pushing forward. I have also felt like I could not get enough energy to press play myself. It is so hard to look at other channels and compare yours with others. Also, I get that I am super lucky that I have got monetized and I am able to make some money. I have no idea where it will take me. If you are close to Charlotte come do a video with me. Kim I’m so glad you’re back! I thought you were sick. You have so much sunshine, knowledge and so much to give you are not and could never be a failure! You are just finding your way. I have my own business too with great clients. And I am so pulled right now, my love of my clients or my love of gardening and my other love, saving old furniture from the landfill. I also want time to have a bunch of stray dogs! I have two sayings I’m going to share, you have to love what you do to be good at it! The other is, I have never had everything I wanted but god has always provided me with everything I needed! Love you girl and you’re going to be okay!

I'm left with a mountain of weeds and started avoiding going out there and began associating the work in the garden as another burden. I do think your honesty and struggles made me face this. I'm feeling so motivated now! This weekend the beds will get cleaned out and ready for new life again! I'm actually super excited!!!! Thank you so much! You really made an impact on me!

I found your channel today. I planted a fall garden 2024 for the first time. I fell down my basement stairs and sprained my ankle. I asked my husband to take me to my garden outback after 3 weeks, I tripped and fell over the garden hose. I feared going back, so I have done nothing with my garden. New Years Eve I finally went out and looked at it. The collards, kale, and cabbage is doing great , but some not so much. I understand it's not the end. It's delayed but not denied. Continue to trust God! Family is everything! God will give you the desires of your heart. You walked away for family. I can't wait to walk this journey with you! I can't wait to see our gardens this spring/summer after winter sowing with you. I will be 61 in February, and I tell everyone that I am 29 for the rest of my life😂

Welcome to 50 sister 🎉 it’s not as bad as we all thought when we were younger! Actually it’s better. Kids are grown, more financially sound, wiser and you can accomplish the things your 28yr old self couldn’t because of the aforementioned. I had to make a hard shift at 51 and work outside the home. I try to look at the bright side and thank God for the opportunity. He has our back. Debbie ❤❤❤️

@@thesoutherndaisyllc Hi Kim I’m in zone 8A. Most excited about Tithonia I grew two plants this year but got a late start beautiful plant. Anise hyssop, Mission marigolds and Dahlias are definitely what I’m so looking for to. I had a lot of success with Coleus and Cosmos this year . I have so many seed packs too many to list lol. Celosia is probably the one that I hope will do well I a little nervous about starting that one. I can wait to see my yard next year with all the flowers, I try my best to pick seeds to grow that are beneficial to bees, butterflies and birds. Will always follow you, you give such great information and I love your videos. So blessed to have found you. GOD bless you !!!!

Hugs, Kim! Let the tears water the soil of the new dream/vision. God takes us on some wild rollercoaster rides through life but the results are better than we can ever imagine. I moved to my current house two years ago. I have been slowly working to create a beautiful yard. I have no training other than The University of RUclips. But, I have the declaration my 3rd grade self made when in the middle of a beautiful flower garden "someday, I will have a yard just like this!". I am 61 and finally have that opportunity.

Im so looking forward to winter sowing this winter. I've been struggling this year to get back on my feet. My life stopped years ago from fibromyalgia, abusive surroundings. I seriously put my health in God Almighty's hands. I found your Winter sowing and I started to rebuild. I have herb seeds I'm starting with, yarrow's, coneflowers, to which I have never had luck with. I now have contact with 3 brothers. 2 that got me started in Honey Bees. I have 7 hives now. One brother tilled me some garden spaces. I had the best garden produce zucchini was plenty this year. I've had about 5 years where I started and couldn't finish. Now I'm going to finish. I love and appreciate you so much.😊❤ The "set back" will be the strength to pick up and start again without falling again. Prayers🙏♥️Love and hugs

Sometimes life throws a curve, and changes are needed. We get so down when we think we have not accomplished our desires...but that is when we GROW! YOU are young! We are 70 and purchased a farm! We have planted fruit trees and I am watching because my dream is pollinator meadows. SO,.it is never too late to keep going forward to bring Glory to GOD for giving us passions, talents, abilities, and health to keep going! I call this project "Our Last Harrah!". We are loving it together! Never give up on your dreams!

You don’t need to explain. Sometimes life happens….shit happens…..just keep smiling and wipe away those tears. Ive had to go back to work 9 hours per week so that I didn’t feel like a financial burden on my family. Flowers and vegetables are starting to appear and I am busy until sundown now trying to fit it all in. The blessing that I have from going back to work has been the ability to be part of our community again which I did running my own candy store for 15 years and had to close due to my lease running out last year and my landlord wanting the shop space for himself. I started my flower growing journey over 30 years ago and divorce and relocation forced that dream to end and I spent 15 years running my business to financially support my children. With the candy store closing it gave me back my dream of flower growing at 53 but boy oh boy has it been a busy 12 months getting to this season. These are the life journeys that we take and there should never be guilt when it comes to finances and raising our children. You’ve got this :)

Hey Kim, I get it! I have felt the same way. From another RUclipsr to another, I felt like God wanted me to do RUclips and teach others what I have taught myself. I was working fulltime as a Sonographer (Ultrasound) and really wanted to quite as long as I could replace my income. I had an opportunity to go part-time, so I took it. My channel is no where what I wanted it to be with subscribers and income. However, I am still hanging in there and pushing forward. I have also felt like I could not get enough energy to press play myself. It is so hard to look at other channels and compare yours with others. Also, I get that I am super lucky that I have got monetized and I am able to make some money. I have no idea where it will take me. If you are close to Charlotte come do a video with me.
