- We first go back to Contigo to explain our motives before Isaac, Garet, Ivan, and Mia. After some reasoning and understanding, our old team learns decides to join us! Now, with 8 awesome heroes (and Kraden...), we take off to save our parents!

Items found - Party Members (Isaac, Garet, Ivan, Mia), Mars djinni (Shine), Venus djinni (Geode), Orihalcon
Levels gained - none [current levels: Felix 32, Jenna 32, Sheba 32, Piers 32, Isaac 31, Garet 30, Ivan 30, Mia 30]
GUIDE:
Head back to Contigo and talk to Isaac. They'll find out that Weyard will perish regardless of whether or not you light the four beacons, so they join you in order to save the parents of Isaac and Felix. Now that everyone's joined forces, you'll need to organize yourselves. Unfortunately, the Contigo shop is not open, so just go with whatever you have for now. Once you've got everything switched around and equipped, go find Shine by using Force on the tree stump. Next go to the Atteka Inlet and grab Geode real quick, then head to your ship. Hamma will speak to you and introduce you to your ship's new wings! Now you can use psynergy to fly around Weyard! If you save Master Hammet from the first game, you'll also get some Orihalcon.
I do not own the rights to Golden Sun: The Lost Age. I am a mere customer and fan of the game willing to show you, the viewers, how to execute certain situations of gameplay. I hope this guide and walkthrough has been both helpful and enjoyable.

It's rough seeing all these people in the comments who never transferred their GS1 save... imo the game just doesnt feel the same without playing the first one, and then bringing the characters you spent a whole game with to this one. It's a feeling ive experienced only in this game, and back when i would transfer pokemon from my emerald version to my diamond version in the ds. And to answer all the other questions essentially, you can only transfer everything at the very beginning of the game when it asks you to input a password. If you did not do that, then you have no choice but to continue without this stuff or start a new game from scratch.

Yes and no. You can transfer GS1 data until the reunion, even update the data if you want to apply new things.
@supermonkeyCL just one question: can we do it anytime before we join the other team at contigo? will it work if we tresfer when we already start the game golden sun the lost age?

@XxshadowWolf13xX Absolutely! When you're outside of a battle, go to the Status screen and use L or R to rearrange your characters.
why do Issac, Mia, Garet and Ivan have so many jewels that give them pynergy, my Issac, Mia, Garet and Ivan don't have half of them like cloak, or force, which is used to get Shine? can you explain?
If you haven't joined Isaac yet, transfer over a file that has the Force Orb in it. That's the only way, unless you're using an emulator. Then you can use cheats, but I'm not experienced with that...
*sigh* If Golden Sun Dark Dawn was NOT created & an alternate 3rd Golden Sun was instead form a year after Golden Sun Lost Age, in this "alternate 3rd Golden Sun" (which still belongs for the Game Boy Advance instead of Nintendo DS), I propose of having Ivan sister Hama as the 3rd party Wind/Jupiter Adept.
Unfortunately, after Lost Age, the creators of Golden Sun takes too long to come up with a 3rd sequel. By the time the creators decided to create a 3rd Golden Sun, the Nintendo DS already replaced the GBA. Because of the new game console, the GS creators have to create Golden Sun Dark Dawn with completely new main characters.
Unfortunately, Dark Dawn is not that good compared to the original GS series. Especially, they left a cliffhanger & "unfinished symphony" at the end...
is there any way you can get that djinn out with out force...... cuz I havent played gs 1.... like never

When isaac joins my team, the only items they have are lifting gem, catch beads, carry stone, frost jewel, and douse drop... how can I get the others?
@spyrop93 Well if you have already joined up with Isaac, it's too late to transfer a file, which means no, you can't get all the djinn. If Isaac hasn't joined you yet, you can still transfer.
Ok so I have a question, I noticed when Isaac and everyone joined your team you got shine as a djinni, when they joined my team I did not get shine, how do I get it? i really hope I'm not screwed because I really want irus :(
@TurkEater1821 Even if you deleted GS1, you will still meet Isaac and his friends. Does that answer your question?
@Senjan Yes you get some Orihalcon if you completed and transferred that sidequest.
@paulster28 Unfortunately if Isaac has already joined you, you can't update your file anymore. In other words, you can't transfer the other items :( that's probably the biggest flaw of the second game... You can still beat the game, just not 100 percent.
@7LeRoyalWitCheese7 If you don't have them it's because the file you transferred from GS1 didn't have them. In other words, you must have missed those items in the other game...unless you didn't transfer a file.
I even got an extra Sol Blade from one of the codes I found on the internet so Felix and Isaac each has one lol

@NeLfEw240 No, you need force to get Shine. There's no other way around it that I'm aware of...sorry :(
How can I get the force gem?
I know this is prob too late to reply to this, but there are ways you can get couple of djinns you missed out from GS1, and they are hidden in some parts of GS2... and they require old GS1 equippable pysnergies (like force). OR YOU CAN JUST look for the Transfer Code that's already haxed to the max (you can find them all over the internet) or just regular codes that has all the djinns from GS1, but that needs to be entered in the beginning as codes....
@XxshadowWolf13xX haha it's alright, I didn't know I could do that for my first few playthroughs lol :P
@coco34ize I recorded this video on an emulator (computer program) called Visual Boy Advance, but I would much rather play it on my original GBA.
