Great job guys! It's nice to see the contrast of stock and modified together. The stock car is amazing by itself and you can have a ton of fun with it. I can't help it though, I love the OEM+ esthetics.

Get the ITS suspension module! Also your buddy may want H&R springs. It’ll ride close to stock. He will probably benefit greatly from the ITS module though.
If you want fun in long term consider a block-mod (or sleeves). The short-block is the same from FK2R on & it's weak. The cylinders shake, wear the head-gasket off, crack themself & destroy the head in the end. The motor won't show his damage until the cracks grow really large.
I wanted a Type-R but it was about 5k over my price range so I went with the Si. Here in the next year I'm giving the Si to my son and getting a Type-R for myself. I plan on running fbo but minimal tune and no bigger turbo. I'm sticking with the stock ride height cause the roads here in NC are trash. Wheels, I personally like stock but I don't like how tucked they are. Since I'll be making doubble what I'm currently making I'm going with the classic tride and true TE37. Gonna go .5 wider and rock +35 offset (havent done research on offset but that's what it is for my Si so that's what I'm using until I buy the car). The TE37s are gonna be black and idc what color mine is. The literal 1st thing I'm doing is having it repainted to gunmetal. It's not a color I can pick from factory.
Have you guys seen the OEM Honda forged wheels for the FL5? I just mine mounted today. I think they look great and are 5 lbs lighter than the stock black alloys.
Any thoughts on how the cars suspension feels stock vs. lowered modified? It would be nice to hear if there are any clear differences in order to help make a decision once way or another. Thank you for the consideration.
comfort is fine but its still very stiff if you drive this on NY roads. +R is pogostick mode. needs ITS module if you want to daily drive this most places in the US IMO
@@ShaiyanHossainI have a ITS and just came back from a two bridge road trip from Jersey to eastern LI. I drove there in comfort and home in S+. God it was terrible but also alotta fun too. What surprised me the most, I averaged 29.4MPG and I was more worried about saving time than fuel.
Most cops don't bother, as long as you speak to them as a normal human being. Some who are by the books / cranky definitely will stop you lol. But, it is what it is; we know it's a state requirement so they are just doing their job ya know.
@SonikDethmonkey I had a Subaru STi with zero understeer because I could make it more rwd biased. With modern suspension tuning/balancing and computerized control understeer isn't as big of an issue as it is on a FWD car.
The fl5 is a very boring looking car,saying its mature admits it looks like an Audi or another German motorway barge..fk2 was the business...so sad it was so short lived.I thought hot hatches were supposed to be in your face and affordable ....not for me.
These is by far the worst car ever and the older typer nothing like a 2001 integra typer or 2006 rsx types where with bolt on or stock will give these silly car a run or modified on the street the rsx will eat it alive don’t even go if the rsx turbo it’s over I wouldn’t waste my money on one of these or nor the new types there garbage for what there for but just my opinion you buy what you like

@Hondadood27 I have owned two evolution's one with 1k hp and the other with 600hp. Both were not fun to drive. Fl5 is pure enjoyment.
Mod it man, stock is so tame in comparison.

I have an FK8 that's FBO and tuned. When I get the FL5 it'll stay pretty much stock minus maybe a stage 1 tune and the dampener module and wheels
Red is my favorite color. Love the FL5, for the Mf10's I think they look better on older hondas, s2000,nsx, integra.

The first 10-20k on the springs will be OK but once the stock shocks wear... o boy lol

Can you put 265/35 tires on factory wheels?? I want more sidewalls on mine, but I love the wheels, don’t want to go smaller wheels.
Yes you can. Just need to be careful if lowered the car since sidewalls at 35 on 19's will be taller

I thought the 2 back side windows have factory tinted glass already.. they look untinted as they look the same as the 2 front side windows..
They do not for U.S. they might be tinted in Japan and other regions from the factory.

Both cars have front end PPF. Mine is paint corrected and ceramic coated. I think both are worth it!
