    You need to invest in a scale just for the work shop, that way it's always there and not taking a holiday at your home lol.
    Love how it's all turned out.

    Hey Tim, sorry to hear about the lost drivers license. The leather wallet I've had for the past 5 years is The Keeper Wallet, made by The Loyal Workshop. Their goods are amazing, as I said, had mine for 5 years, not even a tear or loose stitch. The brown vege tanned leather patinas beautifully, cannot recommend enough my man.

    Hey man I'm a woodworker and to save you some time with those swirl marks, you can buy a sheet sander that only moves in one direction, similar to hands sanding, they aren't expensive and can take any grit paper you can find, I use it for"hands sanding" high grit finishes on my knives

    hey buddy, your trade is at the top of the engineering structure, its where everything started, you got leather in your shop, make a new wallet, hahaha, i am from London in England UK, no one here really has the old school trades now days apart from the old guys, i love watching your videos, as an engineer i make an effort to make sure i know how stuff works, i would love to forge but i am at the other end of engineering as in the R&D builds of modern tech, any way keep up the good work.

    How about making a couple mini-hatchets for us city folk who don‘t really have use for a full sized hatched or even a full blown axe? Something that you could also use as a hammer, maybe, and easily take on a camping or hiking trip, with a 10“ handle and 2.5x5“ head or so?

    On the subject of wallets. Have you put any thought into a front pocket wallet? I hated the idea for years until I tried it out for a while. It's the only way I carry a wallet anymore. And I went with a wallet from recycled firefighter. You can find his links if you search. Plus they say it's better for your back.

    • @davidelliott8324
      @davidelliott8324 3 года назад +2

      Not if you want the stamping nice and crisp. Everytime it goes to high heat it losses surface material to oxidation. So that relatively small stamping will burn away. The order he's doing it in here puts the stamp in there just before heat treat.
