Great Stories With not so Great Beginnings

Ever read a story that you come to love, but doesn't have the best beginning to get a new audience member hooked so you always hesitate when introducing it to other people? Those are the kinds of stories I want to take a look at today.

ACOS and Path of Daggers was peak WoT for me. Crossroads is where I started to zone out. It took me six months to get back into it.

reading/watching part 5 before parts 1 and 3 is not something I would recomend. I Don't disagree with starting with 4 exactly, there is Jotaro and Joseph, but it's both me favorite part as of yet animated, and it works as a stand alone way better than any other part, including part 1, but you kinda need to know the fathers of the main characters of 4, 5 and 6 to fully apreciate them, and Dio, as much as I hate to bash my favorit JOJO, is kinda more important to the work as a whole than Joseph. Also starting with part 3 makes sense, kinda, but cause of Dio and Joseph it also doesn't, and it kinda drags on, no one needed Wheel of Fortune, or Blue Moon just to name a few.
Sidenote: you don't need to read or watch parts 4-6 before 7, which I mention just cause I realised that and read it before part 5 came out and decided to read it while I waited, and it worked out

That’s a fair enough. I considered just saying start with part 4 and then watch/read the rest in order, instead of what I said in the video. I’m not as adamant about that as I am about starting with part 4. All I really wanted to do here was offer an order that didn’t require starting with part 1.
And yes you could technically start with Steel Ball Run.
