I demoed this board at Brighton UT last season and it’s definitely way better than previous generations. I have one on the way to ride as my all mountain board this year. Really liked how it rode everything with snap pop and power. 🤙 159. 6’ 178 lbs
Great review! I've had like 6 iterations or "models" of the assassin and without having tried this new version the review feels on point... now i have to try this aswell .. sounds like all ive wanted about it to change. Used to be the guy who wanted the progression.. becoming the rad dad now i guess...
Avran! Awesome review... again. Killin-it *HERE YA GO* --- sticker-up that left-side block of wood (holding up the deck) / and / blammo, the right-side as well. Perfect spots for a few of your logos. Bing-Bang-Boom...Done deal👊
I love how my Dancehaul rides, its weight, and the early rise on the tip. Would the Salomon Sick Stick be a more “twinish” jib/park focused alternative? Or Assassin? My ride style is fast short edge to edge fast carving, small jumps, and backside nose butter sideways. Can jib on a skateboard but learning to do it on the snowboard. Love lightweight boards, no matter the flex. No need to be wet noodle.
I wonder if this is going to ride better than my 2024 Goliath? Deciding wether or not I am going to roll with the Goliath again this year or switch it up. Mostly just carving and groomers. Also have a Proto FR but it's often more board than I want most of the time. Goliath is at times less board than I want.
Thanks for the review. I was looking at this or the Nitro Team for a quiver of one.I'm 50+ days riding all mountain and looking to improve my park riding this season. Would you have a preference over the two boards?
@ ok, thanks. Is the Assassin as light as the assassin pro? Or at least lighter than the Shadowban? I find the Shadowban kinda heavy compared to my park boards. I got one but still on the wrapper and was considering returning it and getting a board a bit more park focused and am considering the Assassin, since I love directional twin shapes.
@@AngrySnowboarder He'll see the difference when we go out. Are you going to do a review on the Pro model for this year? I'd love more details about it.

That family of fat skiers!! Why aren't these on t-shirts?

you hit the jump line during your demo? Curious to hear it if it washes out on bigger jumps!

Looks good, how do you like it compared to the Salomon Dancehaul pro? Keep up the good work.😎
Nice review: is there a HPS - Louif Paradis board review in the pipeline?

Was sold on picking up a Mercury this year but now I'm torn!
First world problems!
Do you have a review coming out for the Salomon EDB binding?
Thanks for the review. I was looking at this or the Nitro Team for a quiver of one.I'm 50+ days riding all mountain and looking to improve my park riding this season. Would you have a preference over the two boards?
Team
@@AngrySnowboarder Team it is. Really appreciate all your reviews and the work that goes in to them.
Is this more stable (particularly for jump landings and charging) than last years model?
Yes.
Is this thing going to fold on jumps in the 40' range or just requires landings to be bolts?
Depends on how you land.
what would you say it’s the main difference between the assassin 2025 and the goliath ? I don’t know which one should i pick, both seem great
3D shaping, flex, sidecut, carbon layup, where it's built.
Hi I got the assassin 2034-2024 model, 156cm board.
I'm just wondering what bindings would be good for it?
Well there's 3 recommendations in this video so...
@@AngrySnowboarder sorry about that I missed the ending. Someone said that the saloman hologram is great for the assassin? Any ideas?
Not a bad choice.
How's the edge hold? Does it still suck on harder snow let alone on ice?
Was way more improved.
How does it compare to the shadowban in off piste chunder and edge hold on hard snow?
It's not as damp underfoot and a lot of that comes down to the amount of urethane in the Ride. It's also not as grippy as the Ride.
Does the Shadowban cradle the rail a bit more than this one?
No, this is softer between the feet initially.

I got one but still on the wrapper and was considering returning it and getting a board a bit more park focused and am considering the Assassin, since I love directional twin shapes.
Is there a big difference between Assassin and craft? I ride park jib and powder. Is there a big difference between craft 2025 and a 2 year old?
No all snowboards are actually the same and made in the same factory and just have different graphics.
Is there much variability bwtween this and last years model?
Yes
You wil do a review also for the pro version?
Yes.
Still can't just give us a radial sidecut on the Assassin/Pro.
Unrelated, but did you get on the Jones Rally Cat?
Yes.
@@AngrySnowboarderAny spoilers for the review, or just wait until it drops?
You could just sign up to angrysnowboarder.vip and read it early for yourself.
6’2” 190lbs size 12 - 158w or 163w?
More playing around 58w, more charging 63w.

Angry Snowboarder, what's the difference between the 2024 and 2025 Assasin Pro? My cousin told me that they're the same board.
They completely revamped the shape, materials, and profile of it for 2025. Your cousin should probably educate themselves.
