Love this series as always. I think it would be super interesting to do a separate video where you study the outliers from each of these vids, like the 2 TEs in this video that weren’t the 1 or 2 target in the offense. I feel like studying the outliers could possibly unlock secret paths to finding other future outliers, and it can show how people can break the mold if they don’t have everything else go the way they need to go based on your research.
I had Flacco and Njoku last year during that run. Browns were throwing a ton and Njoku kept hitting yards bonuses. I don't hate him if you have to pay TE 10/11 prices but in don't see him as a smash top 5 guy with Watson back under center, a full offseason to plan how to run the ball until Chubb is back, and more target competition with the team getting and paying Jeudy.
My issue with Kincaid, and why I have been avoiding him, is how much the bills like using two te sets with Brady and the competition with know who the bills love
I'm targeting McBride or Andrews at the 5.05 in a 10 home team league, though I'm comfortable punting it if a better value falls to me there. I have a feeling though there's going to be a run at QB in my league based on what happened last year so we'll see how that affects things...
I drafted Njoku with the last pick in my draft thinking I made a smart move. He was so bad with Watson I was forced to Fire him after week 3. I played TE streaming after that with No luck. Then I picked up McBride quick Fast when Ertz got Hurt. So I was good at TE to close out the year. Of course Njuku went off when Watson got hurt and Flacco took over. Thats what I was expecting from Njuku with Watson. Anyways Im pretty mad the Browns didn't resign Flacco for cheap after he lead them to the playoffs looking really good while doing it. But Flacco ended up in a Great spot with the Colts because of Richardsons injury issues. We will see plenty of Flacco this year so load up on Colts. Flacco is going to finally make Pittman a Star who has been under achieving the last few years. Mainly the lack of TDs.
Not high on Mike Gesicki with the Bengals as an end of the draft TE dart throw? With Boyd gone I am wondering if Gesicki could slot in as a big slot this year like he used too when he was getting heavily used by the Dolphins. I know he has had two down years; his last year with the dolphins in 2022 and the change to Mike McDaniel and then the horrible 2023 patriots but prior to all that he was a pretty good reciving TE.
In my home league (keeper, wasn't my idea) another guy is keeping LaPorta AND McBride. I am keeping Kincaid, so good luck to the rest fighting over the scraps. He's also pushing for TE Premium??? Anyone know what that means?
i agree, i have a hard time taking Laporta/Kelce but why? we were taking the TE1 in the 1st the past 2 years and now we get him in rd 3. we were taking Kelce over CeeDee last year and now we wont take him over Davanta Smith? i see Mclauren go over Kelce all the time. i think this could be one of those things where we look back after the season and ask why the hell were we taking these WR2s over Kelce and Laporta.
I agree with this as well. If Kelce is there in the 3rd, I'm laughing as I pick him. I think what's made this year different is the Kincaid's, McBrides and Kittles of the world going in the 4-6 range. Seems like we actually have value now vs having to take Andrews/Kelce in the 1st/2nd.

I got shut out of TE in my draft and waited until round 9. Fortunately I got Njoku. Hopefully he can replicate his finish to last season
