I just got my 2024 Kia Sportage X-Line (in color White), last weekend, and I am in love. But, I don't remember everything the sales guy explained this wonderful vehicle can do. Reason why I am watching this video. I want to take advantage of all the features without having to read a 500 page manual. LOL. Thanks for this video. :)
Hi Gabby and Charlotte, I would like to recommend a video in regards to Kia Connect. I'm not sure if Canada has different rules than the US, but I have a 2023 EV6 and my "free trial" just ended. Certain features (understandably) are convenience features (such as remote start, lock/unlock doors), others (like voice navigation & texting) are a safety issue (in my opinion). After waiting 40 minutes to talk with someone on the Kia "844" number, they told me to use the "find" command as a work around for the navigation. This is supposed to help. Regarding texting, I need to plug in, pay Kia, or live without the voice texting. Would you please go through a video on what gets turned off if you do not pay a subscription (as well as work arounds)?? I am concerned what else might be turned off (and won't work when I need it). You both do great work (as well as everyone else who jumps on the videos from time to time) and I greatly appreciate the videos.
Late to the party but grateful for these videos as even though the trims are different, I have learned a few things about my own US version Sportage X-Line AWD watching these for the last couple days. Just wanted to drop a line and say thank you. Also, not going to lie, definitely watching for Gabby. She knows her stuff on these cars.
@stevennocella5805 Nice! I think you're gonna love it! It's got some great tech features,the adaptive cruise control with lane and steering assist is ultra smooth. Itll drive itself,you just gotta keep a finger on the wheel. The dual 12.3" screens are amazing. The interior feels quality. So far we're really happy with our purchase.
objectively the best car in the world. It improves from model to model, although the previous one is sublime. The Sportage is beautiful, versatile, practical and optimized for all uses. ❤❤❤
The 24 kia Sportage hybrid down here in the states took away the heated steering wheel, added extra airbags and projection headlights for around $700 more than the 23 model
You cannot completely disable it, in order to shut it off you will have to press the dedicated button at each initial start up. It can definitely be annoying at first but it quite honestly helps in the fuel efficiency department. Anybody know how the audio system is on this? I like this trim but I’d rather have the upgraded sound system. I want premium audio without leather seats lol.
Is there any way to open the rear door without having to unlock the front? I noticed the back doesn’t have a lock/unlock on the handle to enter if car is locked
Why does your Sportage look extremely different than mine? All my controls are digital. I have the X line though. I’m trying to figure out what all the extra buttons are by the drive control features.
We are based in Canada, here the ‘X-Line’ trim we showcased is on the lower end of the trim scale. However, we also have a ‘X-Line limited’ that sits at the top of the trim scale. The limited has the full digital display, 360 camera and larger screens that you probably have in yours!

We just bought a 24 X line and got every available feature.
Looks like the Canadian version only got the 8" screen where we got the 12.2 and 12.3.

How did you get Adaptive Cruise on the US X-Line trim? I've only seen that in the SX and X-Pro trims.
