I’ve got 2 of the octopulse 4’s and 2 mp40’s on my 180 gallon. Way smaller in length, about same diameter and moves way more water. Have had them for over a yr and highly recommend these over the Mp40’s even if you can’t Anita-sync them.
Ive got one of these, really pleased with it. I have been borrowing an mp40 wQD, now having got this I'm so pleased i didnt buy the mp40. The lack of directional adjustment on the mp40 bothered, yea its a good bit of kit, expensive though. This was 100 quid less. They are identical in terms of noise, as in you can only hear them when on a alternating flow setting as with the mp40.

Great is 10V option for arduino set up. Price too high.
kinda disappointing in the random mode.
