As a Southfield regular I enjoyed this video and was at Southfield when this was filmed. Just a bit more info on groundbait that Lee touched on. In DDAA opens we are not allowed to use pellets, or method feeders, however club and pleasure anglers are, so the fish do see a lot of fishmeal in pellet form too.
Interesting approach Lee. Conversely heavier feeding from the start puts you in the game from the off. It’s easier to cut back if they’re not having it than it is to build up when the fish are already on your neighbours peg. Still a tough call though.
Well done Alan ,those lost fish has certainly cost you and you don't want loat fish anytime especially against the likes of Rob Wooton! Great vid ,good luck in up and coming matches mate. Cheers.
👌👌👌The feeding cast you were not happy with you said was about 50cm out!! Mate, I'd be dining out on the story I casted that accurate at that distance for years if I did that!! Brilliant :)

Loved it Lee, it’s great to see your thought pattern throughout the match, Southfield is a venue that keeps you on your toes 👏🎣👏🎣

Big fan of braid direct although on a shallow venue for Bobs n bream like Southfield I prefer mono shocks.
Nice one Lee 👏👏
Amazing mentality towards your fishing. Enjoyed listening to your thought processes 👍👍

Does any one put a few balls far out 1st ,or is it all in feeder 1st ,
Everything is fed via the feeder :)
What oz tips did you use Lee ?
How long is the fluorocarbon
Was wondering the same as it looks like at least 20cm, I would be using about 10cm and works fine for hat would be advantage of using longer?
