Weinig makes a fine moulder. I own a 1996 weinig hydormat 22 AL a 2000 hydromat 23 C and a 2010 Unimat 818. Weinig makes an air or spring loaded hold down to use when profiling with your vertical spindles. It helps to keep your profiling consistent along the length of the board. If you don’t have any, they would really help with your t&g products. Moulders are a learn as you go machine, but they are fun.
You can run them twice. Ive always shoved the boards through a double headed planer, straight line rip 1 side and then rip the opposite edge parallel on the tablesaw, then ready for the moulder. Both methods work, imagine you'll get more culls going through the moulder twice.
Did you use a standard Weinig knife or a custom t & g profile? Also, I'm curious as to why you are not using a back relief knife as well. Thanks. Trying to learn myself
How about some machine working , close up and nearly close up, not boring, that is why we watch not for yada yada yada. Ask us what we like to see not what you think we want to see or hear. 🇨🇦✌️

@RobertSchubert-if2ii we're running a custom T&G profile no back cutter was needed for a ceiling board but we run them on true hard wood flooring .
I wish y’all would show close up of the wood now and then.
