Tried some of these myself. The GC7 is really meh. I am not sure how bad the headset needs to be to not notice the poor sound quality but proper entry-level headphones sound really bad on it if they can be properly powered at all. The surround sound of the acoustic engine is really good, but not good enough to make up for the bad sound quality. SXFI is really cool, especially on the headset I tried, the Air Gamer, but if I had to pick between nice and open-sounding headphones and ok-ish sounding headphones that sound like the sound comes from speakers in front of me thanks to SXFI, I would always pick the good sound.
