The magazine was Guitar Player Legends Of Guitar volume 1, from 1984. So I was 14 years old when I first knew EVH loved Hendrix, and Hendrix loved Eddie Cochran... and there's that 6° of separation thing with Forrest Lee.
It really is a small world friends.
    Peace and Love ✌️

Just got a picture of Eddie and Hank and My Dad in March 1955! I'd love to see more pics from that film roll!

Please share it. So the world will know the truth.
My reputation means nothing if not for factual accounts of country and rock music history.
My father never got credit for all he did.
He was even the tour coordinator and road manager for the rock grop Mountain in 1873-74.

Have you thought about putting some of those items on loan to the country music Hall of Fame or the musicians Hall of Fame?

He says here that Eddy git the guitar new and It was a early one. I've always wondered when he put it in. Was it soon after he got the guitar or if it was a ways down the road.
